Email responses from "Ed"
by LennyinBluemont insome time back we shared some replies we had received from jw friends to our "farewell" letter.. (see http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/121203/1.ashx ).
one among them, "ed" seems to want to continue the dialogue.
however, i fear the dialogue is not really legitimate.

Do Your Medical Records Still Say That You Are A Jehovah's Witness?
by BluesBrother ini raise the question because mine did - until thursday that is.
a routine follow up review appointment was my opportunity to place a 'living will" in my records .
the doctor said "you are a jehovahs witness aren't you" .

Last year I went to the hospital for some outpatient surgery. I had been to this hospital before for the birth of my daughter.
They printed out my admission forms, and asked me to make sure everything was correct.
I had them change two things: I had them take "Jehovah's Witness" off the "Religious Affiliation" line, and I had them take my EX-husband of 12 years name off of the "Contact in Case of Emergency" line!

What great pictures! I was impressed that your little girl was not scared to interact with the characters, and hugged and had her picture taken with so many. Mine would hide behind my leg!
Since I live here and my (ex) husband works for the Mouse, I have been there PLENTY of times. (Tickets were part of my divorce agreement!) The schools use the theme parks for educational field trips, so the children are always going to Sea World or Epcot. I love Epcot. Once I got into Epcot just to hear Rosemary Clooney sing. I was only there two hours, but it was worth "wasting" a ticket to see her.
I've gone and had good times, and bad. It depends on health and weather and time of year (crowds). One year, I had an abcessed wisdom tooth. Not good. One year, we stayed until the park closed and most of the people were gone, so we rode Thunder Mountain six times in a row. That was good. It was also fun when (I was married) to use his pass, which gets in 6 people at a time. If there were just two of us, we would find four more people who were in line buying tickets to come in with us for free. My sister and I would sit on the benches like queens and scout out who we though was "worthy." We tried to pick people who didn't look like they were rich. (I don't have access to THAT pass anymore, unfortunately!)
I've also done annual passes at Sea World and Universal Studios, when they run a special where you buy a ticket, and it's good for unlimited park access for the rest of the year. Disney doesn't do that. My daughter has an annual pass from Busch Gardens right now, same deal.

I love the funny "Old Chinese Proverbs..." I'll change them a little to fit this format.
These two are my favorites:
What do you call a man who runs in front of a car? Tired.
What do you call a man who runs behind a car? Exhausted.

He is a leech
LOL! Wikipedia calls it "power mimicry."
Lots of good observations! I am obviously not watching this show carefully enough!

My daughter and I love this show. It's one of the few we watch together. We both agree that Peter, the younger flying brother, is cute.
Mr. Bennet is EVIL PERSONIFIED (not that you asked me! lol)
Is there something I missed that would make you think he wasn't evil?
