i was minding my own business this morning and up walks and elder wanting to give me an invatation to the dc.

i said no thanks i don't go to cult meetings anymore.

he looked at me like i had 3 heads turned and walked as fast as he could away from me.

As a kid I used to get dragged along to do "street witnessing" at bus stops with my grandmother. I used to pretend I wasn't with her and intently study the bus timetables instead!

V665, it was but somehow I summoned my last ounce of strength and got myself out of that situation. There's a limit to how many times you can forgive someone for that kind of behaviour. I no longer blame myself. The WTBT$ made me quite vulnerable to being controlled. Thankfully I'm now getting the therapy I need to help me deal with it.

Any member of the GB who thinks women are awkward about shoe shopping should be forced to go out in field circus in heels for over an hour and then see how they feel about it!
If I'd had the choice I would have turned up in trainers. Easier to run from angry householders and their big dogs, they wouldn't hear the click-clack of heels alerting them to a JW sister approaching their door. In fact, if the WTBT$ let the R&F dress more casually they'd probably reach more people - ha!
