The Genesis 3:15 woman.
by Fisherman ingenesis 3:15 says that the woman’s seed would be in enmity with the serpent’s seed.
although the bible reveals that the woman’s seed is jesus and christians that go to heaven with christ, it does not identify the woman directly.
we at jw believe that the woman is symbolic.

Bethelite viewers: Ever thought of this?
by BoogerMan inin the nwt, revelation 5:10 is worded thus: “and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our god, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”.
however, in the original greek, (kingdom interlinear translation) it is more accurately translated as, “and you made them to the god of us kingdom and priests, and they are reigning upon the earth.” (several scriptures validate the location as being earth).
the wording of 1 peter 2:9, 10 in the nwt confirms the accuracy of the k.i.t.

Tall el-Hammam
by Jerryh ini was never a jw so rarely post here, maybe to ask a question sometime.
just by an occasional visit it seems most regulars have found the bible untenable not only in its jw redaction.
i get that so please don't view this as an attempt to debate.

Facing Reality - It's a Death Cult (Romans 6: 7 Examined)
by Sea Breeze inwatchtower view on romans 6: 7 examined .
the watchtower teaches that the opportunity to be born again and enjoy complete justification with god ended in 1935, having been limited to only 144k since pentecost.
so, it is very surprising that the watchtower embraces the death that is described in romans chapter 6, since this is the very death that is required to be born again…… which is denied to watchtower members!

The Anointed fight during the memorial celebration?
by waton inthe last wt magazine on the memorial asserts, that the kingdom covenant was the prime subject of the solemn last supper bread and wine ceremony.

Differences between Christians and Jehovah’s Witnesses
by Badfish inchristians are saved by grace alone though faith alone in christ alone to the glory of god alone.. jws are “saved” by their faith in the men in brooklyn, ny through their works (number of hours spent in field service, record of meeting attendance, and moral excellence or law-keeping (not breaking the long list of rules made by those men in brooklyn).. christians believe that jesus is capable of paying for the sins of mankind because he is god manifest in the flesh.
christians believe that the temple of jesus’ body was torn down and raised again on the third day, thus fulfilling the scriptures.. jws, on the other hand, believe that jesus is the created being, michael the archangel, manifest in the flesh, and that although he became a man and underwent physical death, he was not physically raised from the dead.. christians read jesus’ words: “truly, truly, i say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.“ therefore, christians partake in communion.. jws, on the other hand, have a yearly ritual ceremony in which they publicly reject communion.
they make a public spectacle of refusing the new covenant.. christians believe that salvation is monergistic - that god works through the holy spirit to bring about the salvation of an individual through spiritual regeneration, regardless of the individual's cooperation.
