  okay fess up: whats your handle mean?.

  my handle: mindchild comes from computer scientist and futurist dr. hans moravec: who wrote the book, the future of robot and human intelligence which is a book about when we will be able to construct machines capable of human intelligence and raises the possibility of uploading ourselves (every thought we ever had) into an android body much superior to the human ones we have now.

  i entertain the hope that not only will i live long enough to see this happen, i will transfer myself (the complete essence of what is me) into a body of my own choosing and become immortal if i so choose.

  Elders

  have you ever noticed (at least around here anyway) that the elders are all well to do?

  they all have nice houses and nice cars.. and nice clothes.. but yet their wives dont work they are all fulltime pioneers.. and the elders jobs arent the best in the world.. how can this be?

  i have never seen a elder with a little house.

  In the first congragation I attended, there was only one wealthy Elder. I do not know what he did for a living because I never asked.

  In Raliegh,three of the Elders were of the same family(Dale) and had money, but they owned their own plumming company, and we all know plummers make a fortune. So I think they work just like the rest of us. Some better off than others. I still have fond memories of the Dale family.

  Bronchitis......Does anyone here

  know what i can take to stop the burning sensation i have in my chest?.

  i have had a cold for the past few days and woke up this morning feeling just awful.

  i went to the hospital and they said i have bronchitis.

  Thanks for the advise.

  Ash, I have a humidifier, and now have turned it on.

  Concerned Mama. I'll have to get Tylenol tomorrow. Am all out. As far as the coughing junk up. It's terrible, and has a funny color to the phlegm. I guess that must be the infection?

  Mulan, thanks, but will tea work as well as coffee? I hate the taste of coffee without a bit of cream and sugar. I do however have lots of OJ, so getting the vitamin C will not be a problem.

  I am going back to bed now. The cough medicine they prescribed has codine in it and it makes me a bit sleepy. To bad I had to be sick in order to get the codeine. If I was feeling good it might be fun.(j/k)

  Know what I can take to stop the burning sensation I have in my chest?

  I have had a cold for the past few days and woke up this morning feeling just awful. I went to the hospital and they said I have bronchitis. They gave me a shot of antibiotics and a prescription for cough syrup. I slept most of the afternoon and woke up with my chest hurting, especially when I cough.

  Is there a home remedy for this? I can't stand this burning sensation in my chest.

  I can't remeber the Judges name, but he had a TV show where people would settle their claims on his show.

  A Witness woman was taken to court by her neice for disposing of he music collection, while she had been living with her for a period of time. The neice won the case.
