I remember all of these article so well. Now I remember why it was so hard to break free from that Religion. They pretty much put themselves equal with God and Jesus. No wonder I was so freaking screwed up when i wanted to walk away from them. Great post. -

Thank you for the link!
Maybe if we all post the link on our facebooks the story would get out here in the US to the JW's. I think I will forward the link to my JW family members. Not that they will believe a word of it, but put a doubt here and there and maybe one day they will wake up.

Dragging Jehovah's name trough the mud!
by truthseekeriam inlistening to the first survivor testify to the australian royal commission really brought back some feelings i had put aside.. the feelings of guilt you feel for doing the right thing is extremely hard even when you know it's illogical it doesn't stop the abuse you do to yourself with these toxic thoughts of "dragging jehovah's name through the mud" i guess it doesn't help that you have the elders freaking out saying "reproach, reproach...this is bad!!
it took quite awhile for me to come to terms with how completely ridicules it is to think jehovah would want this hidden.
the truth is the religion wants it hidden and they are perfectly fine with destroying lives along the way!!

I was shocked that they shortened everything to JW. org. I do believe JW is what the apostates called them. They adopted the name. They talk so much about bring reproach on Jehovah's name to their members, but they themselves are bringing reproach on a huge level. -

another abuse that most JW children go through is severe "spankings" at the hall..is that still going on?
by wwjdnwt ini was born into the jw's religion.
was an active jw for over 30 years.
i remember when i was a child my mom would take me in the bathroom and switch me so hard with the nice little switch she got from the tree outside.

I was born into the JW's religion. Was an active JW for over 30 years. I remember when I was a child my mom would take me in the bathroom and switch me so hard with the nice little switch she got from the tree outside. Sometime I was taken outside because of my screams. I was little, I was switched because I couldn't sit still for 2 hours. I wasn't "bad" I was just a little one. This took place every single meeting!
As I grew up and married a JW, I would cringe when I would go into the bathroom and hear and see the horrific beatings that many of the little ones were getting. It broke my heart. But is was expected. When I had a child, I was expected to take her outside and whip her little legs! She was a baby, a few months old. I couldn't do it. I just couldn't. I stopped slowly going to meetings because of that.

Biblical Proof that JW Elders can not have Jehovah's or Jesus Spirit
by GodZoo insomething just occured to me.. like a lightening bolt in fact.
matthew 10:19 just popped into my head... new american standard bible 18 and you will even be brought before governors and kings for my sake, as a testimony to them and to the gentiles.
19 "but when they hand you over, do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say.

Well if the JW's would just think for a minute on several issues they would realize that this is not God's organization, and is not spirit directed. They would realize that Jesus is not feeding the GB spiritual food. For instance, they just change their belief regarding Gog right? If they would research they would realize that what they changed their belief to is what most religions have known it meant for many, many years. Why didn't the faithful slave know what Gog meant before all of the other religions. I swear I think the GB is reading the prophecy blogs. lol -

Is the two-witness rule really unreasonable?
by stillin ini'm picturing a situation in which a savvy 12 year old doesn't like the house rules that mom's new husband has put into place.
or something along that line.
i can certainly agree that protection of children is paramount, but who protects the real victim in those cases?

That pretty much sums up a Judicial hearing. Just saying...( JWdaughter) -

I find it interesting that on the JW.org website they don't put any of this in their news. Why not? They put everything else that puts them in a "good light". But be fair, be honest let their members see all that is going on in their WTBTS. They have really programmed their members to think that anything that is said against them is of Satan and that they are being persecuted. With that kind of mind thought they can get away with pretty much anything . They point the finger at the Catholic Church as a big huge false religion but they really need to take the huge tree out of their own eyes before trying to take the splinter out of someone else. The Catholic Church has a pope , the WTBTS has the GB. What is the difference? JW's don't even have Jesus as their Mediator to God.(only the 144,000) How exactly does that work I cant figure out.
As for the question about 2 person rule. That is exactly why it should be reported. How foolish is it to think that there will be witness to horrible acts against children. You know the JW's have a habit IMO of taking a scripture that seems to be very simple and plain and saying...oh no , that is not what it means..It means this..Why can't they take this scripture that they refer to and give it the proper perspective. I think that rule is meant for other things perhaps. But surely not abuse of children. Use common sense I would say.
Anyway..Just my thoughts for today! God Bless. -

Going to a bad place when i die

Hi,
I think most former JW's know how you are feeling. I went through a terrible time when I was questioning everything that I thought was the truth. (35 years + a JW) I remember praying so hard day and night. I would cry out and thought I was going to go crazy! I would beg Jehovah for forgiveness for even praying a prayer asking to let me know if I was in the truth. I felt I was betraying Him by questioning the organization. Words can't describe the anguish I had inside. But, I kept praying. I begged! Let me tell you, when you are searching and asking with all of your heart God will direct you out of that religion. He is with you. He isn't leaving you. He is helping you now. What you are feeling now will go away in time. Just don't stop praying. I remember the first time I went to a Church. I thought I was going to die. My heart was beating so fast, I thought I was committing an a sin against Jehovah and that Satan was there! OMG. I look back and realize how foolish I was. But in my mind I had been taught those exact things every single day. No wonder I felt that way.Get help if you need to. Nothing is wrong with that. Just don't give up. Talk to ones on here if you have no one else.
God Bless

Thank you for the welcome. I have so much to say about JW's and no one to tell. I have many family members that are very active in the JW religion. Talking to them is like talking to a brick wall. They all have a glazed look in their eyes. I appreciate all of the post here. It is so interesting to see how former JW's have the blinders off and everything is so clear now.
