  it was interpreted that i could not answer the question.

  a good book,.

  i was wondering if any of you have read a book "visions of glory" by barbara grizzutti harrison.

  as far as i know, it is the only book written by a woman about the witness experience.

  Have you read the book? I am going back to get the book from the library and reread it, but as I recall she loved her mother very much, and after some wild times, she got married. Well, in a couple days I'll let you know if my memories are correct.

  hello..i am catholic and my fiance was raised as a jw...we are very much in love..we planned on waiting till we were married before we made love but..we didn't.we will be married once we get past our differences.we will never be with anyone else ever again...his parents found out hat we had made love out of wedlock and now they despise me even more than they did before...anyone know how i should handle this situation?how do i convince them that idid not "corrupt" their son?

  I don't know what Frenchy meant about sin, but I know what both reigions think about and that's what you have to deal with. Frankly, I don't think it's a big deal, but that's me.

  Now this whole seduction thing, and it's your fault is a crock! It takes two to tango, now doesn't it? This crap about a man just had to do it, because of how a woman was dressed or how she talked seductively is just the biggest BS excuse I ever heard! It is just an excuse for a man to blame a woman for what he did, or for parents to balme you for what their son did. Don't let these people run this guilt trip on you!

  My heart is broken! How could such a terrible thing happen! If I don't blow my brains out with father's forty five tonight, I am calling a therapist in the morning! I am starting to agree with MDS, the end of the world is well upon us and that game is proof of that fact.

  When Art Modell accepted that trophy, I almost a put bullet through my TV, but my wife talked me out of it.

  You said that the modern day Israelites will review The Report for SEVEN YEARS. (I used all caps, because I can't do bold print on web tv like you did.) Are your referring to the GB, the remant or all of JWS? Seven years doesn't seem like a long enough time to reach 6 million JWs. If you are talking about the GB, they wouldn't read if you sent it to them. As far as the remnant go, they would be awfully hard to fine. I think you have a logistics problem here. Also, when will this seven years begin and end?

  I have posted all my unanswered questions other places, so I won't go into them. Another person you did not address was Ianao when he showed several Bible scholar's interpretation of Scriptures in Micah that you had quoted. Do you plan to respond to that? I will ask one question again. Why do you say that other people should go to the Kingdom Hall, but you say that you don't? I thought leaders were supposed to set the example.

  I hope the Giants humiliate the Ravens. Everyone in Ohio hates the Ravens for taking the team out of Cleveland. At least they couldn't take the name the "Browns" with them. HA! We would shoot that team, but we probbaly couldn't get enough guns past the metal detectors to get em all. I don't want you to think I'm biased or anything.

  There is no question that Rutherford had a mistress. I knew her.

  There are many who witnessed Rutherford's heavy drinking and have reported it.

  I have no knowledge of his death. I was told that he died of cancer on a train, but, of course, that could be a cover up.

  Jr and MDS,

  I am glad that you study the Bible together, and I'm glad that you have found the error of the WT, and have found interpretations that give you comfort.

  I have a comment on the "foolish and ignorant questions" quote. For the questioner it is sometimes difficult to determine the intelligent from the unitelligent question. You will often hear teachers encourage students to ask questions, even if the student may think it's a dumb one. That's the only way a student can learn. The only exception I can see is if the student is trying to sidetrack the teacher of disrrupt the class. That was not my intent, and I think that as you talk to others the questions I posed are the ones that other's will ask as well.

  Regarding out times, I don't think the end is near and if it is, so be it, there's no point in getting in a lather about it, because we mere mortals can't do anything about it anyway. As far as our daily conduct goes, we should live a good moral life as best we can without the threat of impending doom. If we are good out of fear, then I don't think that Jehovah would look kindly on us.

  If it seems to me that posters at this forum tend to emphasise one of two aspects of the Diety, either "love and mercy" or "vengeful destruction". I prefer to read the four gospels and concentrate on the mercilful theme in the message. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. I'm saying that it is my preference.
