  good day everyone....its been approximately one year since ive been on jwn, not as active as i want to, i guess i will be as time goes on.. its been an interesting year since been fully awaken about the lies behind the borg...thanks to this site, along with the many well put together blogs from cedars, marvin, jwfacts, randy & others, life has been much better for me.

  Hello Kool Jo. I know you feel you are between a rock and a hard place but LisaRose, Hortensia and transhuman68 are all right about your parents. You are a adult even though your parents do love you they do not have the right to tell you what you should do with your life. JW think the father is the head of the house and that goes out to married or single adult children who do not live with them. So they feel they can control you. Your mother who fights with depression I hope is getting help from a doctor and not the elders. I know guilt is a strong emotion. So kick back and think these things through. Also CO's love to get hold of young adults like you and in there mind save them. That way the Borg gets another slave and the CO gets another feather in his hat. So hang in there.   LisaRose-I have found ADD makes me more creative. I guess that is because my mind is going 1000 directions at a time. LOL That MG test was very

  Many new ones may not know me. Hopfully many of the older ones do. Since our move to wild's of PA many things have happen to my wife and I. Our Donut business went out the window. We closed it last July. The biggest reason was the company we had to buy our product from charged higher prices than what we could get it at the local grocery store. Before we lost everything we close it. Since then I have fallen back on my old trade of fixing old wood furniture. I also joined a artist coop and I am selling some of my wares there. Last Oct. I went to school to get my master gardener certificate. After 5 months of school I took the test and got a 90 on it. I am now active in our area with the master gardener organization. I will be heading the booth at our county fair this year also working at the farmers market in the MG booth. I am presently working on opening a produce stand at our house as will as putting up a demonstration commuinity garden. I will be active in starting that next year. Back in Sept. of last year my wife and I started going to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation locally. We fell in love with the people who go there and joined in Nov. My wife gave a talk there in Feb. on how to identify a cult. And last week I gave my first talk in over 2 years on saving the planet through composting. Both our talks have lead to much conversation in our new congregation. I have been invited to lecture at the Allegany Nature Pilgrimage on three topics on gardening this summer. Also been invited by our congregation to be a delegate to the UU convention at Niagra Falls this summer. What is amazing about all of this is they pay me and my wife to do these things. What a far cry from being a elder all those years working my butt off for nothing. Not that I am looking for payment for I would have done those things for free. But these people have showed us more love, respect and genuine concern than anyone did in all the years I was a JW. My wife is back at working in the health field and is about to start a new job working at a well respected nursing home with advancement. Yes we are picking up the pieces but we still moving forward. New developments have happen in the last 2 weeks. Our oldest Son's wife has found out we are no longer JW. We at this time know whats going to happen but we are sure everyone we knew will soon know. We will let you know what happens. We are both in good health just had our 39th wedding anniversary. And our old cat is still kicking. She will be 24 this May and is still the first one to the feed bowl in the morning. I hope this letter finds everyone well. Take care. Totally ADD

  i think the organization will harp on the idea that the news media is a product of satan the devil and should never be trusted especially if the news is in any way negative of jehovah's witnesses.. with all the negative (truthful) press that will come out over this latest mult-million dollar judgment against the watchtower society, i think they will "demonize" the press more than they ever have.. what do you think?

  I told my wife the more the borg tells them not to watch the news or brings out what they are saying is from satan maybe just maybe many who are still in may start to question the WT. The reason I say that is I know for a fact many know about past and present child abuse that has taken place. Why do I say that? Because they know friends, relatives, their own children and other children who have gone through this crap. Put they have kept silent about it because they were told to.   i just heard this directly from a circuit heavyweight i had the displeasure of conversing with recently.

  he and i got into a little bit of a heated conversation about following the direction of the slave as related to education, and he used the example of bethelites being prohibited from having fully shaved heads.

  he was taken aback when i expressed how utterly ridiculous such a policy was/is.

  If they spent more time worrying about the crap they are telling people instead of someones hair they would be more believable. Or maybe not. It's all about control. They are the biggest control freaks in the world. In my younger years we had a older elder go around to all the young men at the hall and yank the back of their hair if he thought it was to long. Such nonsense to worry about on how long or how short someones hair is. I am sure Jesus when on earth went around with a measuring stick and made sure all his disciples had just the right hair lenght. Totally ADD

  my mil's circuit assembly was this past weekend.

  she came over for dinner to our home after the assembly.

  in conversation, it came up that a known pedophile was seen walking to the bathroom holding a young boy's hand-no relation to the boy at all, although that wouldn't make a difference!
