  Thats all my parent knew what to do was cuss. GD this and Shit that or JC what are you talking about. But at the hall or around other JW not a cuss word. Funny thing was my dad was one of the most respected elders in the hall. But I knew better. Totally ADD

  AllTimeJeff just come up to my place this sept. 3 and we can talk about it. I have always enjoyed what you had to say. That does not mean I agree with everything you said but when you think about it my wife does not agree with everything I say. But we still love each other. You have a gift I can only wish to have. You know how to express yourself on the moment. I have to think about it for hours or days before I can come up with the thought I wish to express. I am more of a emotional poster on this forum. But guys like you and sizemik and others just blow me away sometimes on the way you can articulate your thoughts. I really like the ones who can do it with very little words. Me I just go on and on. You know how to get to the point. Keep up the good work and come up to the wilds of PA. Totally ADD

  What % of each JW talk do the dubs listen to?

  not sure how long the sunday sermon is now, maybe 30 mins?

  how much of that are people listening to?.

  the kh is stuffy, the kids at the back of you is kicking up a fuss, the kid at the front of you is choughing all over the place, theres several hotties to your left , to your right theres that asshole jerk who really upset you last week, you just remembered on the way back home you've got to get some food in from the shops, and you must remember to speak to brother so and so about this that and the other, and also you need to remind sister example about that stuff, shit!

  I wonder way I see so much of these in habits iin my life time? Oh I know, I was in the JW cult all my life. Just when I thought I was getting my act together now something else comes up to work on. I quit. Just kidding. I will work harder not to have these habits of a incompetent person.   Lurking JW's & Newbies - WT Society's Definition of "Generation" is False

  of course this comes as no surprise to those of us on this board- naturally, as we've informed ourselves.

  however i felt it important to reveal the real dictionary definition of the word " generation " for newly exiting jehovah's witnesses so they can see for themselves how the wt society is twisting the real definition of this word to extend their faulty predictions of jesus prophecy about " this generation will by no means pass away.

  so here is the actual definition of the word " generation " according to webster's newworld dictionary - .

  It took two years for me to wake up about the WT before I started to call it a cult. Even then the word would kinda stick in my throat. Now the word comes out freely. As lady lee said the key is to acknowledge you were a victim. That is very true. I may be wrong but I think when one finally comes to grips on the matter that they are a victim that is when the healing begins. Like lady lee said when confronted with your abuse for the first time many will say "all it was not that bad". It's kind of not seeing the forest for the trees thinking. Hopefully as the evidence of what happens to the victim comes out this will finally force the person to see what really happen to them. For the victim it is like a "oh my god" moment. They finally see and learn to accept what really happen to them. I am not saying this is easy. It is not. But with this break through comes healing. As far as the "C" / cult word is concerned the Wt. is. No doubt in my mind now but it took time. I like the phrase that the R&F are called "victims of a cult" where the Wt. is called a "cult". It kind of but things into perspective for me. Thank you lady lee for such a imformative thread. Totally ADD

  Over lap generation teaching was truly a insult to thinking people. But just ike Spectre said the Wt could say "blah blah blah" and the R&F will fall over themsevles to agree with it. The no holding hands rule in the WT a few years ago was big evidence how non thinking the majority of JW are. Question. Did the no holding hands during prayer thing come out before overlap generation teaching or after? I asked this because sometimes I have notice the Wt. will throw out some minor twisted teaching to see how the R&F react to it and then later on throw out a bigger twisted teaching. That way the R&F will accept easier. I may be off base with this one but I am curious about it. Totally ADD
