So my Mother passed on 20 Aug 23 from the big C. I was there when she went. That was indeed very traumatic. I won't go to describe it.
Dad went 17 years ago so there's just me now. I have a step sister up in Scotland who is very JW. I didn't contact her as she has shunned me these years so she can now feel the effects of the results of shunning. Anyway, My Mother wasn't her Mother.
My adult children helped greatly with clearing the bungalow and doing a lot of the admin. There's so much to do.
We invited her close Jobot friends along with rellies.
I refused to have a JW funeral because it is no more than a recruitment ad for the filthy, disgusting cult.
Instead, a family friend (Ex-Catholic), gave a 5 minute Eulogy about Mother's life. He mentioned that she held 'Christian' beliefs. (That's another story). One of my sons read her favourite scripture from a Bible that wasn't a corrupt JW one.
After the service at the Crematorium, we were escorted to the 'garden of remembrance' to lay flowers and view those already there.
All the Jobots kept away. No words. No contact at all. During the service they all sat at the very back in a group.....and it doesn't matter to me. Amazing how well the Corporation fear and propaganda works. They can all go and soil their undies for all I care. I guess at least they were there, so there is that.
So, here we are. Another 'rich tapestry' phase gone through.

If it isn't satire, is he hoping to get paid for this?
Is he another Bible Grifter?

Matthew 15:13-14
13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
2 Timothy 3:2 (For 'men' read 'the Governing Body of Jehovah's witnesses(tm)).
For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Sign of the Last Days
by Fisherman inin the sermon on the mount, jesus foretold that earthquakes “in one place after another” would be part of the sign of the last days clímaxing in the great tribulation.. what could jesus possibly have meant?
using a phone app nowadays, there are earthquakes detected in one place after another but is this what jesus meant and did they have so many earthquakes throughout the centuries affter his prophecy or are these modern day detected earthquakes unique to this epoch?
how can we be sure unequivocally that modern day earthquakes are part of the sign fulfilling bible prophecy?.

It seems that religious people of centuries gone thought the end would be in their time. I get it. The end of all the crap our vile politicians put us through. The end of pain and death.
We can look all we want. Hope all we want. Convince ourselves all we want.
I'm just carrying on my life being great and wonderful as usual.
If you want scripture, Matt 24:36, 'Nobody knows when, Dude!' (Punk's translation).

I no longer look at these things as 'special privileges(tm)'.
They are of course all part of the CULT slavery.

Of course, depending on if they knew I'd been doing the shake and shimmy out of wedlock.
what's the worst they can take away? Carrying a 'roving mic(tm)'?

Could this be the end of JWs? What are the consequences if it is?
by Teddnzo inmultiple very serious allegations against tony and then huge efforts to remove him from all pictures and videos, have to admit it doesn’t look good.. once the pennsylvania investigation becomes public knowledge and front page news it will be very very hard for 8 million pimis.. is it possible that this could be the largest problem the branch has ever faced?
larger than 1975, the overlapping generations or any other ‘test of faith’.
many will feel heartbroken and betrayed.

No. The message will be that it's all 'Apostate(tm) driven lies.'
The 'faithful(tm)' will believe all the lies and spin they're told.
You only have to look back at when Ray Franz escaped the cult. Plus all the 'don't listen to rumours' schtick when Michael Jackson flew over the cuckoos nest?

The only verdict is vengeance ; a vendetta , held as a votive , not in vain , for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous . Verily , this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Ecclesiastes 9:5 -"the dead know nothing at all"
by aqwsed12345 inthe narrator of the book of ecclesiastes had very little knowledge of many things that jesus and his apostles later preached.
the author does not make statements, but only wonders (thinks, observes, often raises questions, and leaves them open).
he looked at the world based on the law of moses and found nothing but vanity, as the earthly reward promised in the law did not always accompany good deeds and earthly punishment for evil deeds.
