  If God exists, what would be a good reason why he never communicates or helps his creation by intervention?

  you have probably heard all kinds of excuses why god doesn’t communicates with his creation or why he doesn’t intervene.. some examples.. no one can see god because he is a spirit.. but we can hear god---yet he chooses not to talk to humanity.. god only communicates with certain people.

  moses, samuel, abraham, etc.

  but there are many people today who also claim that god spoke to them yet we ignore them but believe god spoke to people who lived thousands of years ago and we can’t really verify if that was so.

  Jehovah GOD a failed GOD in many respects.

  isn`t there enough evidence to acknowledge the god of the bible has been a failure ?according to wt / jw teachings ?.

  a god that has supposed to have created the visible universe and everything in it ?.

  some points where i would challenge that from an earthlings point of view using the bible if only in paraphrase.. doesn`t god create everything perfect ?

  If the Bible is the inerrant 'word of God', then why doesn't it state things clearly and in a way that no one can mistake. After all, if God is so all knowing, he'd have made sure of this.

  Why did he get the Bible written in a language that would become almost obsolete? Surely it wouldn't have inconvenienced God to ensure the language survived and his wishes were clear.

  The God of the Bible is a Mafia boss. 'Serve me or I'll kill you. I lovingly give you 'free will to do what you want', but if you do, I'll murder you.

  the God of the Bible is an abuser. Perhaps that's why the GB follow this example. God is the anti-typical Joseph Fritzel.

  Nowhere in the Bible is slavery condemned. Even Paul said something like, 'be a good slave'.

  I wonder how the 'woke' attention seekers would react to this?

  I challenge anyone to show where, in the Bible, it actually says that owning another person is wrong.

  We know it's wrong, so we must be more moral than Jehovah(tm).

  is the fact that no god/god ever communicates with us evidence that no god/god exists?

  i think it is very strong evidence that no personal god/god exits, especially a benevolent god who wants humans to know him him/her/it, to obey him/her/it, and/or to love him/her/it.

  since no god/god communicates to us (including those who sincerely want communication with the/a god/god), wouldn't it be sensible for those who pray to what they believe is the/a god/god to cease all efforts to communicate to a god/god?

  An old friend was all nice until she found out I was DF'd!!!

  well this is almost funny to me at this point.

  i've been out since i was 19 and i'm now 65. i have uber jw cousins that of course now shun me big time.

  funny how when my uber jw started declining in health all of a sudden they "needed" me and i had to help with her care blah blah after being shunned for years.. my mom passed away a couple of years ago and i sent out the death/memorial announcements to her friends far and near.

  If only they'd realise, the only reason all this exists is so that the corporation can thrive. Keep 'em in and keep the money and assets going to the GB. Why? For the GB, so they can continue with their rock star status and lifestyle.

  I wish karma existed. Sadly, I see no evidence of it.

  You've had a sugar rush and are hallucinating. These guys are no longer with us. (Sorry, couldn't resist).

  Anyway, (or 'anyways' with an 's' on the end if you're in America), I really am kind of leaving this society myself. I act at doing all the things 'normal' sheeple do but don't feel part of it.

  I feel that religion is like politics is like sport. I caveat this with, 'this doesn't apply to everyone'.

  There are those (not everyone, remember), that just want to belong to a tribe. It doesn't matter if that tribe is right or wrong, the belonging is what matters.

  This is why we have the 'woke' tribe. Their religion is to play the victim and find victimhood so that they can virtue signal to each other.

  Soccer and sports fans can feel part of a team. They say things like, 'we played well at this game'. It's a false inclusion of self into hive.

  Politics is celebrities for the ugly.

  You can see why I hate society and everything in it. It's all just us living in someone else's dream. Most things are designed by someone else. The furniture we sit on, the products we consume. We exist in other people's design.

  Having said that, I quite like meringues filled with fresh cream.
