Update on shunning@the store. Watchtower victorious.

yep, that's right.

after all my friends and my efforts, the shunning carries on.. the 3 people who were shunning me at my local supermarket, still, are carrying on this practice.. little subtleties like avoiding eye contact, making busy as i walk past and looks out of the corner of their eyes.

you know the modus operandi.. nothing now the store can do about it.

Something Big is Coming...

the annual meeting of the governing body of jehovah's witnesses will be in october 2014.. .. in november 2013, just after the last one they published this now famous statement in the 15th of november 2013 watchtower page 16 paragraph 17 says:.

"at that time, the lifesaving direction that we receive from jehovahs organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint.

all of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.".

One thing is for sure. What ever the change, it will be a big dissapointment.

Speculation: Female Ministerial Servants coming soon

ive no source for this, just personal speculation.. * there is a good case to be made that there were female deacons (ministerial servants) in the bible.. * there is a lack of qualified brothers for basic assignments such as microphones, accounts, literature.

in some cases, elders have had to do double duty because of a lack of ministerial servants or qualified brothers.. * women outnumber men in the organization.. * there is supposedly a surprising change coming "down the pipe".. perhaps the only difference between male and female ministerial servants is that women will still not be allowed to teach..

Phoebe served as a , "defender of many", in other words she was a "Ninja". Of course the record gives no details. Today, many sisters karate chop any in the audience that fall asleep. He that does not fear a women is a fool.

i don't know if they could be used as microphone carriers, though. They have high heels and they may stumble and cause distrations. They may break a nail when receiving back a microphone from a nervous commentator.

Sisters conducting meetings where there is a lack of brothers

i remember years ago when i was a little boy aroung 9 years old, our bookstudy conductor was in the hospital and at the last minute one of the elders asked my aunt to be the book study conductor.

this was the first time i have seen this happen.

my aunt did a very good job and the bookstudy acted as it was not something from outer space.

Yes, I remember as a child an older pioneer sister conducing a cong bookstudy. The Overseer worked evenings and she filled in until some male member was baptised and qualified. Some of the older records at the Branch show sisers names for Account Servant, Literature/Mag servants.

What's the most dumbest/petty thing you've heard of someone being "stumbled" over?

- some loser once took offense that i hugged a sister goodbye at a leaving do and ran back to the elders like a little child telling on me.

i was 15, this sister was in her 40s at the time.. - this elder said someone told him they saw me with a copy of the sun newspaper.

yes, this paper is known for its 'page 3' topless girls but far from pornagraphic and i wasn't even thinking along those lines.. - one brother who had a good job was 'counselled' because he was actually able to buy himself nice things including a new car (shock, horror!!
