After leaving the Faith, do you celebrate all of the Holidays?
by Quarterback ini could never understand how some who don't follow some of the moral restrictions in the jw faith, are strong against celebrating the .
religious holidays such as christmas, and easter etc.. do you celebrate the holidays knowing some of their origins?.

Necessary Business (NB) Guidelines:
Warning a DF or DA of a fire in a bldg, is not NB
Providing a ride for the DF, or DA when it assists them in their duress, is not NB
Providing shelter to the DF, or DA relative is only temporary, and under extreme circumstances. This will be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Be ready to surrender your Elders Manual
Talking to a DF, or DA relative about their sickness, financial hardship, house burned down, mascara run down their cheeks, winter coat that is ripped, house burglarized, victim of living in a violent crime area is not NB.
Offering shelter or financial assistance to a pregnant DF, or DA relative is not NB.
Smilling to a DF, or DA relative is not NB.
Eating in a restaurant where you notice a relative that is DF, or DA would require you to leave the establishment quickly. You must not let anyone see you remotely close to give the impression that you were in close proximity. That is spiritual association, and having a meal with them
Babysitting a child of the DF or DA is permitted, if you can obtain the child with uttering very few words to the Df parent. If any conversation takes place there will be consequences.
Providing assistance to the DR, or DA relative is only encouraging that one to sin. Love that covers over a multitude of sins, hopes all things, endures all things, doesn't apply here.
The Df or the DA should thank their lucky stars that they were not stoned to death . That is where love is being applied. But this love is temporary since the DF, and DA will die at Armageddon.
Having no spiritual fellowship means all of the above.

Wow ...Anderson Cooper should do a show on JW's
by Quarterback injust watched the anderson cooper show on the flds.
they are really messed up, and make jw's look like angels.. he should do one on the org and the shunning, and pressure not to go to university issues..

Actually, Oprah did do a thing about the ORG. She had a family who refused a blood transfusion for their child, and the Courts intervened. The family became grateful for that action and went public. This was aired a long time ago. It actually aired before Ray Franz left and wrote his COC book.

Should Men Tuck In Their Shirts?
by minimus ini was reading an article about how men should not tuck in their shirts if the shirt is worn as casual wear.. i often wear suits with a black tee shirt, tucked in.
i have some great cabana style shirts that are always worn over the belt.
if i'm playing some sport, i would never tuck in a tee shirt.. i looked online after i read the article and it seems some are very firm on their position...... and while we're at it, should men wear a belt with jeans or with dress slacks?.

No pants suits for sisters, OTWO. Now that's what I've been talking about. Sisters need to wear pants.
What needs to happen at one of those Silloqi's (sorry can't spell it) at a assembly. A sister meditates, and talks out loud (you know what people think about that already) to herself, but really into that microphone. She says something like, Geez there is 5 weekends in October ...that would be great for Auxilliary Pioneering, and to start a fad wearing a pants suit. Then I will encourage my husband not to shave and he can have that beard that he has always wanted. Somehow I don't think that will happen.

Just why would god create dinos??
by highdose inthe jw answer to this is that there must have been some purpose for them that we don't yet understand.. but dinos were pretty violent, basic animals who killed without mercy.
i know not all of them but alot of them did.
the ones that were vegetarian ate huge masses of vegatation, how is that productive to the earth?.
