  and sadly,they thought it was so profound.

  it was brought out how some young people feel the restrictions of the "truth" cage them in.

  a jw (who i have discussed the generation of 1914 with in previous discussions) asks me, "did you see in the news this group of people that say the end is coming in may?

  me: "yea, i saw that.." before i can go on, they respond, "i can't believe people fall for such nonsense".

  me: "what's the difference in saying 'the end is coming in may' as opposed to saying, 'the end is coming before the generation of 1914 dies off'?

  It's been years since I've been to an assembly, so is it just me or has the tone changed considerably? I don't remember talks this...extreme. I read that and thought, "What a f*kin cult! Omg!" And I feel scared now for the ones still in. Were assemblies and conventions always like that, I just didn't notice before?

  do single jw live ascetic?

  it s often not imaginable for me, to think that single jws live a life of abstinence.

  i mean at the end of the day we are all humans with desires and wishes.

  most singles are not trained to be like monks from tibet or stuff.. so what s the secret behind it?

  I suspect that many of the Governing Body and their cronies in the upper echelons at Bethel suffer silently from cryptorchidism and have convinced themselves that this is normalcy.

  I had to google that one. LMAO! That would explain a lot.
