We had brother numtee call today!! With the ragazines he didn't knock the door though as he saw we inactive bad people had just celibrated new year and xmas, because I was lashed last night and forgot to turn the lights off on the outside of the house and the big xmas tree in the front window!!! He saw the star of david and the satan stop here decorations and shit his pants We were all still in bed at 11.30am when the agent /indepentant elder came round. My cat woke me up and then I saw the shit in the letter box, Shops were closed today and we ran out of bog roll so I wipped my ass on them!! If we had of been up and he knocked the door we were going to tell him to piss off and not bother us again with this shit

hall morgage paid Elders please comment

elders please comment, when our hall was paid for and its a double hall the brothers at first wanted to wait a few months to inform the cong.

thats wrong since we paid for it and should know all of the finacials.

also the publisher rate was lower very little so that we contiue as if we have a morgage.

My old hall was just payed for this last year 2010, the the regional building comittee came round and said it's not fit for meetings anymore!!! You will have to pay for a new one now over the next 25 years @ 3% interest on the money they already sent to bethell buliding fund. The old hall was fine still , and it's a scam to get more money out of the drones They had to borrow 66k and at 3% that's another 50k on top of the loan that was the congregations money to start with!!!!! They do this 3 times a month in the UK to halls around the country, nice money spinner for the bitchtower.

JW's turned up to see if I celebrated xmas

had a surprise visit from some jw relatives over xmas.

they had never visited before, had never been invited, were travelling out of their way and despite having planned to "stop by" gave no advanced warning such as a phone call even a few minutes ahead of time to see if it was convenient.

they stood at the door apologising for not phoning in advance but offered no reason other than that they'd decided not to call.. when invited in they had little to say (perhaps disappointed??).

What was the worst part of the conventions for YOU?

i thought it'd be fun to talk about what part of the conventions just made you cringe or be annoyed with.

i can remember a couple things:.

i remember after the tms when they put the list in the back on the announcement board, there were people that would get up while the last song was being sung to write down the info.

WTBTS Elder & Ministerial Servant Problems

i attended a recent ministerial servant k m school on the east coast and the main school instructor mentioned among other things (part entitled: 'objective of the km school course') that the total number of ministerial servants is seriously less than it should be.

in times past the ratio of m ss to elders was much more than it is today.. in the u.s. apparently the total number of elders is 88,500+ as opposed to m ss 65,000. the numbers show & numbers don't lie: the society is running out of spiritual men.

the instructor stated that this is a new downward trend that has (in so many words) the society worried.. the next speaker (part entitled: 'why we must be spiritual men') added that in his years as a traveling servant the pool of m ss has always been much, much larger than it is today.

My old congrgation has no kids or anyone who wants to reach out, MS are few and they are all nerds!! They have just had a rebuild but no more have come to the meetings, it has just cost 66k to do all of this piontless work on a hall that was ok for years more service!!! 3% interest x 25 years is money spinner for the WTBTS of around 50k . ASHOLES

1.the organization itself denies access to reality and substitutes its own version, interpretations and meanings.. a.only watchtower approved publications are allowed.. b.no higher education is to be pursued.. c.no non-jw friends or associations are encouraged with their "outside" points of view.. d.no free-style questioning of doctrine or criticism permitted.

curiousity is verboten.. e.threat of being "marked" or disassociated looms over them.

2.between every real-world event and the rank and file jw's mind is a roadblock.. a.the moment of identifying is short-circuited by an interpretive moment of re-labeling in watchtower-speak.. b.all things happening are forced into a narrow storyline and propagandized as end times happenings leading to armageddon.. 3.social and personal identity is expunged and replaced by a collective persona: "jehovah's witness".. a.private thinking is red-flagged as selfish and sinful.. b.personal improvement, welfare and ambition is crushed and door-to-door ministry substituted as "worthy" endeavors.. c.self-conscious obsession permeates witness awareness as each person is transformed into a public spectacle of performance for judgement.. d.since you aren't an individual you don't really have a right to fall in love and marry or educate or earn.

New resolution passed at last service meeting? crazy!!

so my ex who has gone back to the wts and is being given the tough love and is questioning whether shes makin the right move.

she told me at the last service meeting that there was a resolution passed that stated that all leftover balances in the congregations accounts would be sent to the society to be used where the need is great, to help out with natural disasters etc and that the funds would be sent back to the congregation if they needed it.. has anyone else who is still in or knows active witnesses heard of this new resolution?

apparently its everywhere in canada as far as i was told .. .

My dad always said they have just had there card marked!! And it's not me they were rejecting... we used to take a note of the posh houses in the terriotry and say I will have your house mate when god destroys you at the big A, and the birds have pecked your eyes out. How loving!!!
