Julián Assange—What’s Your Opinion of His Situation?
by minimus indo you think he’s a hero?
do you sympathize with him or do you feel he’s really a bad guy?.

He could send the entire political environment of the U.S. into chaos by setting up one automated tweet, contingent on his capture or death: “His name was Seth Rich”. -

And here I was doubting God’s existence. However, after hearing these arguments, I feel I must now reconsider. I too want Jesus to be my nigga.

This year I have not been invited. I have been forgotten and rejected... and it feels very good, like a warm blanket on a cold night.

How have so many been fooled into thinking and believing it’s acceptable for a child to make a vow to serve Jehovah till the day they die?
by BourneIdentity inwhen ….. you need to be 15 to obtain your drivers permit.
you need to be 16 to obtain your drivers license.
you need to be 17 to watch a r rated movie (alone without a parent).

Yeah, well, think of how it sounds: “Don’t get baptized because you might find out that the only right way to live doesn’t fit you. You might find out that the God of the universe isn’t quite right for you. Maybe dying a horrible death at the big A is more up your alley. So just hold off on that, think it over...”
My bet is that a lot of people think it shouldn’t happen, but what can they do? They can’t reason with someone like above.

Brain Teaser
by BourneIdentity ini’ve always wondered about this one.
if the bible says there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, does that mean all mankind that have died will come back to life?
if so, what’s the incentive for jws to have an urgency to preach and save people?

Yeah, I thought this was the official stand:
You could either (a) die before Armageddon, or (b) not die before Armageddon. If (a), then you’re golden. You could be one of the the righteous or unrighteousness that will be raised to grow to perfection in the 1000 year reign. The idea was that you paid for your sins by dying. This was normally the time “the wage sin pays is death” scripture is invoked. If (b), then you are alive during Armageddon, and if you get killed, it’s viewed as your judgement. You don’t have to be resurrected for the final judgment. You get it right then and there.
If (a), then you final judgement will be at the end of the 1000 years. If (b), the big A is your judgment time.
So technically, the best scenario is that you die before Armageddon. Unless you sin against the Holy Spirit, then you are forked. What constitutes sinning against the holy spirit was always a bit fuzzy to me.

@Bourne:
More points have been made since last night. But there is no way I’m fully responding on my phone. I don’t have the thumb stamina for that.

@Bourne:
I’m not a WT apologist. Simon is the owner and creator of this site.
What we have is a disagreement. When people are called trolls and AM defenders, and in my case, making Nazi arguments, you tend to get a very negative reaction. I’ve posted here for years.
Also, there seems to be a recent pattern of “I don’t like your position, therefore you are a Nazi, or at least a cultist”. It’s just not a valid argument.

Oh so you are saying that if he wasn’t buying, I would have gotten council?
And when I would visit an elder’s home with liquor cabinets stocked, that too is elder “privilege”?

@BourneIdentity..
Except, as I have mentioned, I have had the exact opposite experience. Not a hypothetical scenario, a real actual experience, as a baptized witness, buying three (3) bottles of vodka in front of an elder (he was buying too), and everything was just fine.
So where do we go from here?
