It's never enough.
You could always have put in another hour...
perhaps not a topic for everybody... mine.. in both sp service in a foreign field in europe , the freedom and helping people to read and write in spanish .
doing a lot of work in the congregations.. in missionary-service.. helping congregations in a third-world country and see good results in family relations.
and the siestas from 13:00 to 15:00..... who has good memories of bethel?
It's never enough.

i haven’t been on here in awhile and this is my second user name because i was busted by my pimi wife on the first one.
i have been basically awake since 2013. i have a super dub wife that i love and don’t want to lose and my sick mom in the hall that is a true believer.
stupid religion has gotten between my wife and i (of course).
How are you going to respond if they ask you if your decreased activity is because you're having doubts about the borg?
Better have a contingency plan for that...
i have never been there!
where should i visit in washington dc while i am there?
thank you in advance for your recommendations!
Depends on what you're interested in and how much time you have. Prioritize.
There's lot to see:
1. White House
2. Congress
3. Supreme Court
4. National Archives
5. Washington Monument
6. Lincoln Memorial
7. Jefferson Memorial
8. Smithsonian
9. Ford's Theater (where Lincoln was short) and Peterson House (where Lincoln died)
Across the bridge behind the Lincoln Memorial, there's Arlington National Cemetery.
There's lots more, but the above ought to keep you plenty busy.
just heard from a friend who keeps in touch with the jw's.
a person who has been studying found out some things on line about the witnesses and decided to not get baptized and stopped attending the meetings.
she lives with a witness.
Sometimes I think the WT goes out of its way to find more people to kick out.
what unique to jws phrases do you remember?
something fun for those of us taught to speak an entirely unique and pure language.
there have been posts in the past in this forum but perhaps some have new ones after having kept up with jehovah's chariot as the light gets brighter.
Information board, NOT bulletin board

watchtower bible and tract society of new york, inc., petitioner v. j. w., a minor.
I've lost track.
What is this particular case about?
todays study article for 6th october discusses 2 cor 4 " we do not give up.".
in the race for life christians must not give up or be distracted by , among other things, postponed expectations .
hmm, what is the difference between expectations, predictions or prophecy?
Maybe the WT needs a new song: "Failed Expectations": sung to the tune of "Good Vibrations."
"Failed, failed, failed expectations..."
big article.. https://www.inquirer.com/news/inq/jehovahs-witnesses-silent-history-child-sex-abuse-20180425.html.
Ironically, I just talked to a Philadelphia elder about the WT's pedophilia scandal in Australia.
He claimed it didn't happen in the US because they report all such allegations to the police here.
I hope he reads this story and wakes up.
watchtower 1953, may 1st, pg.284, par.16.
16 is the watch tower bible and tract society god’s woman or universal organization?
scan: https://docdro.id/qiltnwd: .
"Is the Watchtower God's Organization?"
No.
so let me get this straight.
even though law enforcement has their hands full with illegal drugs and guns on the street, child traffickers, dangerous gangs and such.
they are going to now pool all their resources to confiscate bibles and religious literature?!
Any time you try to get a JW to think outside the WT box, they think you are persecuting them.
