Have schools in your area done away with Holidays ??

the local public grade schools in our town are doing away with halloween and christmas as a way to appease religions that don't celebrate them !

now they will have fall changing of seasons celebration and winter celebration .

instead of halloween costumes students are being asked to wear their school name t-shirts ......

No, they are still doing it. We even have vacations around certain religious groups that are more prominient.

This is very interesting. I never made the connection or even thought otherwise, probably because I did not listen to much when at the meetings and def not the Revalation book.

I am going to have to research this some more.

When Elder's Fade

as a publisher, still buying the wt line that they were god's sole channel and any problems, doubts, etc... i had were all a product of my own lack of.

wisdom and or humility or failure of application, i would be shocked and puzzled at how long-time elders would resign and then fade away.

i would wonder: what could have happened.

So DESIGNS, you say that you were read a letter that you would be "removed" with the connotation that it was non voluntary?

I forgot how stressful this would be if you had the title of elder behind you and then trying to fade...even worse. But I guess the only silver lining is there would be little room for questions, because you had first hand knowledge on what really goes on.

i'm english --uk--& not sure what the phrase means or implies.

"asking you out"----inviting (usually) a woman for a date.

"offering you out"---usually one man inviting another man to "step outside" for a fight ( punch-up ).

a true moment of clarity is not something you live once.

you live it every time you think of it.

Email I sent to mom after huge fight today

well my mom and i got into a pretty bad argument today over the phone.

it basically came down to the fact that she couldn't handle what i was saying about the organization, etc and all she could come back to me was that i "hated her?

i couldn't do it, because it would feel like child molestation.

i have 2 young adults for kids.

Ugh, I hate that term. I am almost 31, but someday I will be "cougar" status, and I do not think I could ever date younger. I seem to like older men for some reason...
