JW.org Kiosks whats up with these? Where did this idea come?

has anyone seen these in their area.

they are kiosks, small buildings either inside an area of a larger building like a mall or outside by themselves maybe on a major street.

not sure whats all in them but from what i can gather there a bigger fancier version of the book shelf on wheels that is so popular now.

Even a bit before my time ...sisters had a little

autograph book ..... where you wrote your name

and a little verse .....such as "roses are red, violets

are blue...and I love you" Birthdays were recorded

here. These books were given out by the society as

far as I can remember!

The word "society" is no longer in voque,

ORGANIZATION is the word of today!

We always talked of "getting into the new world!

Illegal immigrants in the organization?

i had a thought today that might prove interesting.

i'm wondering if there are any illegal immigrants who are witnesses?

surely it would be a great position to be in as an illegal immigrant because you could play up your plight and prey on the sympathies of others within the congregation.

You have to be strong

standing up for yourself,and deciding to follow your own path takes strength .

you have to be strong especially if you were raised in a way of life that dictated so much of who you were .

while being raised as a jehovah's witness i was taught to follow ,unquestionally follow .i was told to put others before myself ,serve,don't stand out ,don't be independent .

Sometimes on here I feel invisable, my words

unseen.

I think maybe the font that pours out on the

screen is so very tiny, so miniscule that no one sees it,

no one reads.

Am I just writing for myself ......yes, in some ways!

Yes because "we teach what we need to know" ........!

Our words help us to solidify how we really feel.

We can air our thoughts out in public like laundry

hanging in the wind .....

i remember about twenty years ago some teenagers were caught fornicating in one of the additional schools.

the schools were downstairs, essentially separated from the rest of the kh.

they weren't just happened upon, though.

i have a list of books on my wishlist at amazon, some about critical thinking, some about knitting, some about yurok indian basketry.

i wouldn't mind getting any of those.

i would like to get a better copy of the watchtower november 15th 1916 copy, where there's a picture of the flowers and everything dedicated to russell when he died.. can someone get a good scan of that?.

8 Year Old Getting Baptized!

eight year old getting baptized!

this 8 year old sister was the youngest of the 31 who were baptized at a regional convention in bogo city, cebu, philippines on the weekend.

Disaster for this poor 8 yr old! Thanks for

posting this .... good to have proof of what

they are doing. One the things I was told

when I was suckered into this cult, was that

they did not baptize children!!!! Liars!
