  i'm excited to announce that the ebook version of my new novel paradise earth: day zero is now available at amazon, barnes & noble, and kobo.

  a print copy is in the works and will follow.. i also did a couple of interviews for ak morgen and curiosity quills.

  $3 Billion class action lawsuit on behalf of Jehovah’s Witnesses children

  a $3 billion class action lawsuit is being launched in australia on behalf of up to 6,160 children within the church of jehovahs witnesses.

  documents relating to the class action reveal over 14,000 serious criminal breaches of mandatory child protection laws, committed against these children by elders and ministers of religion within the church of jehovahs witnesses over the past 4 years.. the victorian government inquiry into the handling of child abuse by religions and other organisations is currently investigating the allegations, and is expected to hold a public hearing in relation to this in early 2013.. http://jwnewsnetwork.wordpress.com/2012/12/01/3-billion-jehovahs-witnesses-class-action-over-child-abuse/.

  My question to Leolaia:Have you published the wealth of information on religion you have into a book ?Do you plan to do so in the near future?Please everybody indicate your desire for her to do so.

  i don`t know how the rest of you posters feel , but i think all of this knowledge coming out ad-hoc in response to questions could be utilized in a more meaningfull way by a book or series of books , not just for the benefit of ex jw`s but for all that are interested in the bible and christianity.. leolaia : if you have already published something along these lines please forgive my ignorance , (and point me in the right direction) however if you haven`t, then please seriously consider it.. i am sure many,many , people would benefit greatly.. smiddy.

  Can you list watchtower articles that claim anything from the 'faithful slave' should be taken as from jehovah himself?

  just a few wts that put to the effect anything from them should be taken as from jehovah himself and also with elders or being disfellowshipped, that it means jehovah himself is angry with them, that's it's punishment from him.

  interesitng stuff about exposing UN stuff etc but anyone have anything about debunking their arguments on 607. i mean other than common sense

  they put across interesting arguments on http://www.jehovahsjudgment.co.uk regarding 607 and it would be useful if their were an article debunking them out there. i could write my own bu am lazy today and hope their is one out there

  following up on refiners story, i heard a good one about the gb.. one of the gb (im not sure which one was visiting ireland.

  he walked in the door and stopped.

  turned around ran his finger over the top of the door, and wiped it looking for dust.. when he finished he ignored the greeting of the local bigwigs and demanded, "whos in charge od bethel cleaning ?

  Help writing a letter

  good day folks...for some time now, i've been trying to be deleted as an ms as this will even make my fade much easier...the body of elders in my "home" congregation, where i was "appointed" is asking for a letter stating that i won't be able to live to up to the responsibilties of being an ms and would therefore like to be removed...i'm not the best at writing and asking for some help w/o making it seem that i'm stepping down for "apostate" reasons.... .

  i can't wait to send this letter to them on sunday and then perhaps next week the announcement is made!.

  i was in a very similar position a few months ago.

  I spoke to the COBE who is a good friend of mine. i outlined some things i was no longer happy and he understood. he then spoke with the BOE and said i wanted to come off and that i was doing this as i was unable to take some direction at the moment. they all have been quite quiet towards me.

  remember that you volunteered to be a MS and now you are un-volunteering. you own them nothing.

  say things like I am going through a difficult time in my personal life and i feel i cannot give of my best to the congregation if you want them to go easy on you and not to draw too much attention to you......
