My all time favourite book is ''The Island'' by Victoria Hislop. I have read it over and over. I still cry at the same pages, i still smile at the happy parts. I just love it!

''Eat, pray, love'' by Elizabeth Gilbert inspired me that we don't have to accept how our life is. We can change it for the better. It may not be easy, but it is possible.

My favourite ''girly'' books are the Sophie Kinsella ones. The ''Shopaholic series'' and her other one offs. I read them over and over with a cup of tea and chocolate. They make me feel happy if i feel a little sad.

The author i'm into at the moment is the spiritual author Doreen Virtue. Some of her stuff is a bit wacky, but she's a very interesting read.

I have just finished reading ''The guardian Angel's journal'' by Carolyn Jess-Cooke. I loved this one, i cried when it ended. A beautiful story how a woman comes back to be the guardian Angel over herself. Very beautiful and tragic read.

I have yet to read ''The help'' by Kathrym Stockett. Had it on my bookshelf for ages. Going to start that next.

I would love to hear your thoughts.

They are fabulous names! My G Gmothers were fabulous people too.

What say you Christians ???

it seems to me that most, if not all christians are really hung up on sin and redemption from sin and how naturally evil we all are.. my question, and observation is this : i had nothing to do with whatever you say adam and eve did wrong, i have always, throughout my life, treated whoever i came into contact with compassion, respect and love.. i have lived by the golden rule.. not many people, hand on heart, can say that, i can.. so, is your god going to judge me for the "sin" of some mythical forebears of mine ?

is he going to say that , because i did not believe in him, i willl be judged adversely, even though i lived by the precepts he is supposed to support ?.

all i can say is, if your god is like that, i refuse to worship or acknowledge him.. and i certainly do not want to get to know him.

Yes i agree that only through Christ you can receive life... He is the ''tree of life''.

That said, for sure I don't believe that all will be saved or indeed that all roads lead to God.

Isn't that judgement call best left to the almighty?? Just saying.

Why do so many here think that poison and pure water are the same, that a counterfeit bill is the same as a genuine bill in the eyes of God and government? Why do people think 2+2=4 and 5 at the same time?

You just keep pushing your Jesus/God sending humans to hell vs Christ and God of Love.

why don't you go back and read what you wrote to me and look at your attitude in the thread we were on yesterday and decide for yourself if the love of your God and for your God is flowing out of your mouth...

What is your problem?? Just because i don't want to worship the same God as you, the God who would send loving people to hell just because they don't believe?? I think i will pass. Nowt wrong with my attitude, got a good healthy one! You have never met me and have no idea of what comes out my mouth, loving or otherwise. Snowbird and waterspout cannot both be Christians if they have opposite views on the founder, Jesus Christ (Creator vs creature).
