  How many you you hated to wait in the car while someone was on a good call!

  something i have not heard before on this board is waiting in the car out in service or any of the woman who were elders wives waiting on their husbands while in an elders meeting.. i was 24 years old when i got married to an older man he was 41 and had been an elder for about 12 years.

  i truly loved my husband when we got married.

  i truly loved him like crazy.

  On your way "out" of the WT, did you experience physical syptoms?

  i'm not a jw, nor have i ever been.

  all of the sudden she wants to spend all this time with me.

  of course, lots of what she was telling me about the "bible", didn't make sense.

  Finally finished my college degree

  this week i finally finished college.

  feels great to finally be completed.. i have to say that the process has been therapeutic.

  a year and a half ago when i started to go back i still defined myself in terms of my experience as a jw.. that is all gone now.

  Gray hairs and the Stress of Coming Out of the WTS

  to many, coming out of the cult- griping wts's enslavement, mind control and bondage to freedom have not been an easy journey.

  some have developed stress, depression, other committed sucide, had broken marriages, severed family and social relationship.

  still, others had to contend for years, the scourge of emotional turmil on their lives.

  did not really develop grey hair,,,however,,,,because of times of "deep stress" my hair would fall out...and yes,,,i blame the organization....it has gotten better since leaving...my hair will never be the same...it is thin but at least i am not a bald 56 year old woman...

  ??? i am not sure who NVL is,,,but if you are talking about people on this sight,,,it is not correct what you are stating..."in a hurry to shed innocent blood",,,,,maybe......not that i am innocent,,,but for me,,,it was either put a gun to my head or leave the organization...YES,,,i had already purchased the gun....

  who is guilty of this SIN???? only god can make judgement....anyone else doing so is merely having a "holier than thou attack"....to judge without knowledge is DEADLY....to PRESUME that jehovah is speaking through,,,,is beyond SCAREY....

  without knowing emotional weaknesses,,,what each person may have gone through...is there mental disability that is not discernable to the public,,,the list goes on....

  i do not know who you are,,,but you have 4000 posts....you take your self imposed strength and pass judgement without accurate knowledge...i am so glad i am not you....

  My awakening and realization that I have been told a lie

  hi all, new posting, but i've been lurking for a while.

  i thought it was time to "come out" as it were and voice my story.... i was born into the jw cult surrounded by all of my jw family.

  grandfather was an elder for almost 40 years till he passed, both of my uncles are currently now elders and have been for the last 15 years.
