Quick Fact: Every person/organization/author that has ever wrote/spoke/preached anything about armageddon over the last 1700 years is now dead, and laying under a tombstone. All current authors/preachers/forecasters on this topic are slowly one by one dying and their prophecies are also failing one by one. Of these, the WT is foremost.

well, folks, this little mermaid just got back from the sad she had to attend w/her husband so as to keep a measure of peace (we're in the process of working out compromises...you know how it goes) i was pretty mad by the end of the day (thank god it ended at 4:00) mostly because i learned some new things that i would never have guessed in a million years.. did you know that satan is setting up artificial "refuges" as a counterfeit to jehovah's "true refuge"which is...his organization???
now satan's "false refuges" are pretty damn bad, like, for instance, "independent thinking.

for those who were jws, what did you expect to do during the 1,000 year reign?.
since only loyal jws would survive armageddon, it seemed to me that field service and tms would be eliminated.. so what did you expect to do with your time, besides getting rid of the dead bodies and petting lions?.
Since most JW's are janitors, and have become quite good at it, it may not take 1,000 years to clean up the earth.

after something came up about wt finances and whether the literature is free or "at no cost", leavintwt assured us that watchtower is not in the business of losing money.. "make no mistake about it.
this may be a non-prophet organization, but it's not a non-profit organization.. i think you probably would have to be there to get the full effect.. lol.

does it bother any jw apologists or lurking jws that charles russell, joseph rutherford, and the watchtower board members who backed them would all be disfellowshipped today for teaching what those men taught as truth?.

so today was my first sunday meeting that i didn't go with my wife.
as an update she has decided not to move out right now...because she doesn't have anywhere to go.
but she is giving me the silent treatment.
I hate this cult a little more each day.
the atheists and bible deniers love to talk about how hateful and murderous god is.
i suggest the following.
i believe that the children that were killed in warfare by the israelites were taken to heaven with god.
Brotherdan - Once I awakened from the JW mind control cult, I then understood how strong belief has NOTHING to do with whether or not something is true. I believed the JW doctrine completely, and thought that everything they said was true. I carried a card in my wallet that said "let me die" to the doctors, if I needed a blood transfusion. That's how strongly I believed it. Then when my eyes opened, I realized how a fantasy can seem like reality.
I then quickly realized that there are 1.5 BILLION muslims who KNOW that Allah is in the sky. They know this...definitely...just as strongly as I knew JW was the truth. They are willing to die for it. But these feelings have nothing to do with whether or not any of it is true.
Once I made these connections, I quickly understood that I believed somebody lives in the sky and loves me because my parents taught me that and because most people around me believe that. Especially in my area, as I live in the Southern United STates.
I found myself much happier when I took all the emotions and beliefs out of it and started looking at facts. Life makes so much more sense now.
Just my personal thoughts. LeavingWT is my brother, by the way.
