I did it !!!!
by snare&racket in7 years ago i started on a path i had long ago given up on as impossible.
i met with my elders and told them i could not justify carrying on as a jw.
i went and got my high school qualifications and my higher education diploma (a levels with distinction) in just 12 months.

i love 'em all, just out of pure solidarity.. i went to order the fourth edition updated version of crisis of consciense for my collection (best book ever!
) and when amazon.com listed the best sellers of jehovah's witness books, this is what came up (see below).. needless to say, it tickled me pink.... brock talon .

Something odd just happened when I logged on!
by tornapart ini typed in my name, password and the captcha, expecting to see my name come up in the top right corner and what i actually saw was someone else's name!
(the name was another member of this board).
i looked at it for a few seconds feeling a bit puzzled and not sure what to do about it and as i looked it automatically changed (whithout me doing anything) back to my own name.. has anyone else had this happen to them?

i've come across the same ones in america that i've heard in australia, and they pass from legend to myth and finally reality as quoted from the platform.

Fairy Liquid was up liquid was a NO NO as the company who owned it were demonic!
Second hand books, clothes, jewellry was a definite invite to the demons!

ok guys thought i would pass this on i think its so funny ..............i was told yesterday that a 8 year old boy at the kingdom hall was playing up as he didnt want to be there, and his mother grabbed hold of him and frog marched him (making a big scene) out of the hall, she flung open the back doors and took him outside a few seconds later he runs back in and shouts at the top of his lungs " oh and by the way a merry christmas to you all" before his mother drags him out again, got to bless the wee soul.

Do you think this message would tempt me back to the loving arms of the cong?
by HappyOutsideTheBox ina 25 year old relative of mine was being stalked last week by an older woman.
the police were involved and the perpetrator arrested.. as it was the convention and his uber zealous, hypocritical mother- aka my sister, was going to be absent from home i called to see how he was doing.
in the course of the conversation i referred to 50 shades of grey' (the stalker had fantasised about him being mr grey).

Totally agree about the sadness of a 25 yr old blabbing to his mother!
Indeed Solomon and his daliances plus a whole load of references that are read as normal if they are in the WT ....
Maybe I should send a copy of the book, although I have to say I have it on Kindle and will probably not read much of it as I find the writing style fairly poor and the obvious content is fairly predictable. It is certainly not a modern day Lady Chatterly's Lover although the media would have one thing differently!
I've decided I won't respond to the email. I have no problem with 'me' and I have no intention of having someone engahge me in a war of words and guilt trips for choosing to live, and speak, of subjects that are normal out with the cong.
