How honest should I be with a JW on Facebook?
by Quillsky inso this woman that i grew up with has sent me a friend request on facebook.
we've done a bit of back and forth "how are you" chat but i haven't accepted her request.. i can see she is still a jw because she belongs to some no-blood facebook group.. i do not want to be her friend on facebook.
i consider witnesses to be bad association and i severely limit the number of jw's i have on my facebook - only close family and people that i share close history with.. so what should i say to this woman?

So this woman that I grew up with has sent me a friend request on Facebook. We've done a bit of back and forth "how are you" chat but I haven't accepted her request.
I can see she is still a JW because she belongs to some No-Blood Facebook group.
I do not want to be her friend on Facebook. I consider Witnesses to be bad association and I severely limit the number of JW's I have on my Facebook - only close family and people that I share close history with.
So what should I say to this woman? Should I gently tell her somehow that I don't want cult members on my Facebook, or just totally ignore her going forward?

(Sorry guys that I accidently created two threads with the same topic. The software somehow split it. I've asked the mods to merge them.)

Once a cheater, always a cheater
by Quillsky inif you discover, while getting to know a potential partner, that they have cheated on a previous partner........ don't touch them.
run run run.. in my opinion a cheat remains a cheat.
opportunity is the variable.. please discuss..

He hasn't necessarily changed. He has apologized.

Sunday School
by Quillsky inwhy don't jw's have sunday school for kids?
i don't want to give the cult any ideas, but it sure would help them to keep the families in, plus be more mainstream in the eyes of the public.. oh my god, the indoctrination you could do on little minds in sunday school, rather than the mind-numbing age-inappropriate stuff kids have to sit through in the watchtower study..

Instant dinner party
by Quillsky inhere's the scenario......... it's friday evening and you've arrived home from work, ready to enjoy the night at home watching a movie.
your home is averagely tidy and clean, your fridge and cupboards contain the food and drink they're normally stocked with, nothing special.. at 7pm the doorbell rings.
you open the door and two couples are standing there, friends of yours that two weeks ago you invited over for supper tonight.

Yes Outlaw, this happened to us last week and we ordered in pizza! But felt bad about doing that, should have whipped up something and made more of a dinner party from what we had, hence this thread.
