She's a bit of a cougar then?
a wedding is in the works for my dad!
he's been very lonely since my mother's death.
the bride's in her 80's, and a lonely jw who lost her husband a few years back.

the following is the most quoted scripture in the bible:.
john 3:16 (new international version) .
16"for god so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.. here is a question for you.
Indeed. I have never understood this core of Christianity, that the (supposedly 3-day) death of Jesus redeems humans from their "sins". Logically that means that humans can "sin" as much and as often as they want, since "the price" has already been paid??
This clearly contradicts the ostensible overall message of Christianity (and its parent, Judaism, and its child, Islam) to avoid "sinning".
record of committee meeting #1. after prayer, proverbs 28:13 was read: "he who is covering over his transgressions will not succeed, but he who is confessing and leaving them will be shown mercy.
" the need to confess to jehovah was emphasized.
as jehovah's representatives, the elders said we therefore needed to confess to them.
Having a baby involved makes your situation more complicated. It appears from an earlier post of yours that this is somebody else's child, conceived during the time she was DF'ed?
Christopher, I can sense you're incredibly stressed and confused right now, and finding it difficult to even see straight, or think clearly. Perhaps you're feeling more alone in the world now then you ever felt when you were really alone. My heart goes out to you.
The last thing you need right now is all this Watchtower rubbish at a time when your fragile marriage and the baby should be your primary concerns. From the bigger picture perspective, you and your wife should be sitting down right now having very long heart-to-heart communication sessions, keeping religion out of it at least in the beginning, and possibly involving a neutral professional counsellor at some stage. All easier said than done, I know.
hey everyone!.

as i understand it, being gay is not a sin in the organization, only homosexual acts are sins.
i've never read anywhere that gay jw people are encouraged to "fix" their gayness and marry.. i've certainly known a fair number of confirmed bachelor types who live exemplary lives in the witness sense - one life-long bethelite i knew springs to mind - but are clearly (to me anyway) gay.
they've all been in the closet though.. i wonder if any jw has ever been out of the closet, but not disfellowshipped since they don't have sex?
Interesting, dssynergy.....
When he turned 30, he decided to come out to his congregation because he didn't want to deal with sisters who wanted to date him.
So it's actually better to say "I'm a gay JW" --- more honest towards everybody. Hence gay (emotionally gay, non-practising sexually) Witnesses should be encouraged to come out.
this is the final of my series of podcasts in which the 3 circuit overseers decide my fate as a jehovah's witness.. my blog- deathorobedience.blogspot.com.
podcast 12 the final verdict- play the audio.
also available free on itunes (just search on itunes).. .
Dozy said.............
in an effort to get you to incriminate yourself.
That's what it amounted to, didn't it?
When Jehovah's Witnesses use the word "spirituality" it sickens me. There is nothing spiritual about the cult-attack that happened here.

That's interesting CRR but maybe your topic deserves its own thread?
I'm discussing gay JW's who don't have same-sex relationships. I think that's worth talking about.
after being absent for years from the borgorg i really noticed the purposeful fake tone of the voices of the gb.
i was just surfing cults and cult leaders and found an interesting link with the gb and cult leaders...... in the satirist:.
the article was:.
"Geeeeehoooooooeevahhh!!"
So funny RebeccaChi!
It's like the television evangelical preachers. What would they be if they spoke like normal people, without resorting to "Theee LLoorrrrRRRrrd JeEEeeZziz Christ".
The whole "Jehovah's name" thing is actually a bit creepy. Superstitious really. I've banished superstition from my life and now I feel free. It feels good.

she and her client, the ex-porn star, want tiger to apologize to her.
do you think he should?
He has the cheater gene. There are two kinds of men in this world, those who cheat and those who don't. Sorry Elin, but he will always cheat. (And this is not a feline pun. I really believe this.)
