  hello, i'm ame and after such heartwarming feedback last time from my other topic sharing my current situation, i felt the urge to just share an experience of mine that accrued a few weeks ago.. i was at mcdonalds with my mother and little brother, eating our food and in the background was the news playing on the tvs they had in the dining area.

  and what were they talking about on the news?.

  gun control.. now, i love the news.

  Sweden rapes 3rd in the world for rape, more then twice as much as USA. It's on that link you showed as well. Though USA is higher in other crime.

  Not much changes had been done. It still remained that Rutherford single handedly fullfilled almost the entire book of Revelation by giving a few talks of old light/apostate material/non truth. All of what he said is no longer teached or preached, but yet all of that was obviously fullfillment of the entire book of revelation.

  it seems britain has voted to leave the eu in a move of total madness!

  the markets are already in free fall and the moronic bigots who campaigned for this are celebrating the demise of our country .. i can't see how a 49-51% split can be democratic?

  there is still the postal vote to come in, maybe there's hope in that?

  Just a few years ago I visited Turkey and things had been safe and relatively calm. Then they open their doors to hundreds of thousands of refugees and now terror attack after terror attack. If the left had their way, all of them would have been in the USA already.

  maybe we should start an ex jw yearbook for experiences of those coming out haha.

  My son is not sure about what he has been taught about the common ancestor

  this week my son expressed he is agnostic as he is not sure what to believe about evolution and the common ancestor.. i thought any jw hang ups were gone.

  i told him that what they teach in school is trustworthy and he can be rest assured that there is evidence to support that the common ancestor was the real link to the evolution of humans.. he has got critical thinking skills.

  and responded with "for hundreds of years schools have been teaching things and have changed their thoughts".

  Evolution is not a fact. The alternative is not limited to the god of the jews and the bible either. Evolution also does not answer where everything started. As of now there do not exist any answers that can be undisputed, replicated, and zero doubts. Either believe some unknown start to life that then evolved to every form of life or some intelligent design by another lifeform that still doesn't answer where they came from and couldnt unless we learn more about them.
