Your attitude brings dishonor to the God you claim to represent. People like you are why most members of this forum no longer believe in God. As I said, I still believe, but people like you are why I quit going to church.

Why are the atheists on this site so hateful?
by HopeEverLasting inall us creationists try to do is offer true evidence that the one and only god is out there watching and looking down on us.
we present that certain scientists know the truth about god and that he is everything that we see from trees, life, weather, the air we breath, and even the most simple molecules.
but of course you atheists reject it because it is your nature to not be humble and see god because you want to rule your own life.

You all are just one big mob. Only here to attack those who have trust in God.
As I said, I'm not an atheist. I've been on this board for fifteen years and I've never felt I can't post my opinions here. What I do know is that I can't come here and demand that everyone agree with me. Some of the arguments get heated, I expect that, it is a discussion board after all.
The problem (which YOU can't seem to see) is that too many believers stomp in here spewing arrogant self-righteousness and complaining that people don't bow down to them as messengers sent by God. If you want to see lack of humility, go look in the mirror.
I would suggest you start your own message board, and then you'll never have to talk to anybody that disagrees with you.

I am not an atheist, but I find that most posts by creationists (you provided a recent example) to be insipid, illogical, fact free nonsense. You consistently mistake your beliefs for facts, they are not. When this is pointed out to you, you whine about being hurt and call people hateful. Disagreement is not hate.

There is science that prove God exists
by HopeEverLasting injehovahs witnesses think that just the bible is proof that god exists but they are wrong.
there is another mode for how he exists.
now we all know many scientists who are creationists now weren’t creationists until they examined the evidence for themselves.

In this way, we could and I do mean we could say science proves God exists
You "COULD" say anything.
I "could" say I'm a billionaire.
I "could" tell the tax man I have no money.
I "could" say I'm the world's greatest lover (ladies the line forms to the right).
What you "could" say doesn't prove a thing.

Your thoughts on the Libertarian party
by James Mixon ini really like what governors w.weld and g. johnson bring to the table.. not familiar with the libertarian party and will do some investigation,.
but any thoughts on this party..

Mostly great ideas. the problem is selling those ideas to the people who benefit from big government, the majority. Not a chance they can win so you have to choose from the lesser of two evils. If social issues are your main concern, then vote for a moderate Democrat, if fiscal issues are your main concern, then vote for a moderate Republican. If principle is the diving force, then waste your vote for the Libertarian candidate. It's lonely being a Libertarian.
Sorry, this is the kind of thinking that created the current political mess in this country. Sometimes you have to think outside the box. For a long time two parties dominated national politics. Then some people with a new idea formed a third party, and refused to listen to those that they would never get anywhere. They succeeded in getting a guy named Abraham Lincoln elected president.

You can get everything you need for a lot less at regular stores. A couple of gallon jugs of water, survival blankets, camp stove with fuel and dried food. Probably for less than one of their kits.

In the 1770's there were three million of us and our leaders were luminaries: Washington, Jefferson, John and Samuel Adams, Thomas Paine, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock; there were also some brilliant people that are not as well known today, Gouverneur Morris and Rufus King come to mind.
Today there are 375.000,000 of us and look what we get. It's a joke, but sad not funny. Edited to add: Bernie Sanders is the first democrat in years to make me think of voting that direction. I'm seriously considering voting for Jill Stein.

Jehovah loves "even rounded numbers" or could this be a way to disprove the inspiration of the Bible?
by notjustyet inwhile i am not able to recall them all at this time, i remember so many instances that when a number was quoted in the bible, especially large numbers, they were all "rounded up" to the nearest hundred or thousand.
for instance the angel killed 185,000 syrians, not 184,879. sampson killed a thousand men with the jawbone of an ass, not 961. and on and on on the even rounded numbers.
i would guess that it could be agues that these numbers were correct but is that realistic?

I'm an accountant. We work in rounded numbers all the time. It's also a common practice in all sorts of historical writing. I don't think the Bible accounts are meant to taken as precise.

I recently read "The Hunger Games." Good book, although I have not gotten to the sequels yet. Recently reread Kings "Apt Pupil" and "The Shawshank Redemption." Both good, although I almost like the movie of Shawshank better than the book. That doesn't happen often.
