  i have only just recently found this site, in fact only recently gone online to do research of my own about jws.

  before i left i had only gone on my gut instinct, not even realising i was not alone with my feelings.

  the week i was appointed an elder some 11 years ago, i had had to write to a congregation many miles away from me about how unloving they were (more details below).. not long after i started to have concerns about jws, expecially as the message of 'following the bibles message' subtly changed to 'follow the fds', this did not sit well with me.

  i get heartsick when i read some of these posts...i had bad experiences, but nowhere near like this sort of thing...it is abominable that an organization goes to such lengths to save face and leaves innocent victims in the lurch. loving shepherds....NOT

  why, he even has gone to some meetings at their kingdom hall!

  someone calls with a large wedding tent that they would like to donate and set up in the kingdom hall parking lot for the public memorial on friday.

  i was amazed how people who came that didnt even know whitney, but simply felt a need to be here and comfort the family.

  blues bro - good point about the bank....and it is absolutely a total breach of professionalism, ethics and protocol for a bank staff to go into her account at the request of an acquaintance or friend. that is only permitted when the police have an appropriate search determination in order. uk, us, wherever there are civilized laws, that is a no-no at this point in time.

  it is a sad situation for sure - and to me sweeping holt's association with the congregation under the rug is especially wrong. and what about his wife??? never any mention about that young woman and how this whole thing has completely screwed her life up.........

  the northern california circuit overseers been making announcements at circuit assemblies for sisters to be extra careful when shopping and out and about..."remember we are surrounded by satan's system.

  " this has been been in reference to a young sister who went missing in the portland or area.

  well now the whole story is comming out...she wasn't a victim of "the outsiders"...it was her "spiritual brother" who raped and murdered her.

  i can't believe the mother posted that about not wanting her back.....that is so unnatural.....if she did say it, i would hope it was just a remark made in the heat of the moment - the grief overwhelming. if not, it is very disturbing. VERY disturbing. and the holt deserves a slow anasthaesia free castration....for starters. what a horrible creature - and someone will find a way to feel sorry for him.........ugh.

  as for that co warning the sisters about being out and about - maybe he should have been warning them about going to kingdom halls. seems they have more than their share of freaks.

  big hugs and know it is just a phase.....things'll get better. just relax and enjoy people and stop worrying about being liked and sex. once you get comfortable in your own skin all the pieces will fall in place. there's someone out there just waiting for a nice guy like you!!! and you come STD free!!!

  we smile and nod.. but, then....there is at least one thing we just can't go along with because it is too important.. why?

  my dad heard from the co who heard from a do that heard from his brother-in-law that heard from the friend of a governing body's wife, that the gb is getting very concerned that "the friends" are losing sight of the nearness of the panda-petting paradise.

  many of these friends are also looking too critically at the "spiritual food" provided by the "faithful slave class.".

  don't tell anyone else, but i hear that the gb has begun testing something new on some of the sheeple.

  there is no reason under the sun to treat some people one way and some people another. if you know them and they know you, you greet them, chat, just be normal. this "you can't talk to this one or that one" is bs.
