as a parting gift to you all before i take a much needed break from this forum, i thought you would be pleased to know that the independent, a leading uk newspaper, will be publishing a piece on the "mentally diseased" watchtower article in tomorrow's edition.. i would like to thank everybody who has assisted the journalist, jerome taylor, in his investigation.. best wishes to all of you,.

Please give careful thought to your next response to the next door knock...

Many that are disinclined to be concerned by what they regard as a small fringe group may want to reconsider.

It is said that the Watchtower is the biggest publisher in the free world. They publish around half a billion items of literature (propaganda) every year. They spend more than a billion hours a year door knocking hoping to recruit your family and friends at a time in their lives when they are most vulnerable to "love bombing" typical of cults.

At a time when the world desperately needs to hear from God, who needs imposters to cloud matters?

Having been in the Watchtower cult it seems is both a blessing and a curse. Those that have been really intimate with the "bad news" (religion) are astounded by the graphic contrast with the "good news" about Jesus. This creates the opportunity for an insanely vibrant spirituality that few others can achieve or understand. You might enjoy the book "Waking the dead" by John Eldredge. I also feel a strong sense of having gone from spiritual death to spiritual life. Much better as you say.

Is the New Testament only for the 144,000 then?

if its right what the watchtower say and the new testament is only for the 144,000, then where the hell does everyone else fit in then?.

why do the other witnesses even bother?.

surely jesus sacrifice and the new testament are written for all professing to have faith in him?.

Priesthood and sainthood of ALL believers. A right (righteous) and clean (holy) standing is IMPUTED as a free gift by grace and faith (in Christ) and not by any merit or membership (of a particular sectarian or denominational group or organisation).

Every member organically (naturally) and authentically functioning BODY. No clergy (FDS/GB/hierarchy) versus laity (other sheep, great crowd). "Unity in Christ" instead of contrived "unity in doctrine". No pretentious and supremacist legalism, moralism and so on.

Eph 2:6; 4:4,5; John 10:16.

TimothyT. Just love it. I have been busy with this sort of analytical personal research for nearly 6 years now. Totally life changing since I stopped shunning my own mind and spirit just to suit supremacist WBT$ theology! The patterns and correlation are no accident but the mystery or puzzle of Jesus hidden in plain sight, but invisible to Watchtower religionists. It is a small and maybe speculative point but it seems that the "gospel of God" is the same as the "Abrahamic Covenant" both of which are eternal. Not so it seems with the "New Covenant" which like the "Old Covenant" is a time and context sensitive expression of the overarching and eternal "Abrahamic Covenant". We will not always need the services of a high priest. There will come a time when we no longer need saving from sin (dysfunction). Jesus will hand the Kingdom back to his father when the recreation is complete. It would seem as if one could then speak of the "Next Covenant" - a dispensation where there is no more mediator between God and man and where we have been restored back to what Adam had before the fall. Would love to see and hear more of what you are learning. Keep up the good work. Please let me know if and when there is a website.

Cedars. Really great idea. Especially annual survey. No idea is perfect at the outset. Will improve over time. Has great potential.

It may help to take the concerns and suggestions onboard, whilst realising others will need time to grow in their understanding of the vision and passion. Different communication styles also prevent different personalities from "getting" the other person. I get you - but many just don't get me. That's life. Especially for those who think of and try new and scary things.

Privacy and anonymity are must haves for the survey numbers to grow to critical mass. We are dealing with an insidious, venomous, deceitful, vindictive cult that has torn apart thousands of families.

Please tally up all the positive comments. Please take a well deserved break. Please rethink. We may lose some battles, but will win the war.

You're a thinker and visionary. Strategise new ideas around money (not here though). Strategise new ideas around IP addresses (proxify.com or a Google service?).

We need you. We trust you. We love you. We applaud you. Keep modest, humble and respectful despite disappointment and inevitable setbacks.

You're not the only one facing an uphill battle. This is how we all learn powerful lessons and reach new insights. Steven Unthank is a great example of quietly and diligently strategising at length against Goliath - seemingly without any significant support as yet.

You've undoubtedly made serious mistakes in the past and needed forgiveness, as we all have. If you can eventually forgive the mistakes of others in this matter you will regain power and keep a very promising project alive and take it to unimaginable heights.

This forum may not be perfect but for many it is one of the few places they can actively and freely share their hearts and be understood, validated and supported (although not all the time and not by everyone). And who wants a lifeless and plastic community like the WBT$ where all are in mindless lockstep?

Each of the WBT$'s 100,000 "congregations" has a venomous, vindictive and clandestine "Judging Committee" that operates as a blasphemous "star chamber". It is made up of "militantly ignorant" and "malignantly self-righteous" powermongers whose sole "gift" is hounding those they consider dumb and weak sheeple.

Not one "congregation" has a "repentance counselling committee". Strictly forbidden by their father the devil.

(Repentance = Holy Spirit convicting us of dysfunction, and the ultimate answer namely the "unabridged gospel" about unmerited favour).

Today's Watchtower Lesson Really Bothered Me...

i was a hair away from telling my wife i never wanted to go to the kingdom hall again after today's watchtower.

the conductor mentioned something along the lines of..."if you think having to shun your disfellowshipped children is bad...you should read up on the israelites.

when one of their children was disobedient to the law, they had to take the before the judges so that they could be stoned to death...and guess who's job it was throw the first stone?".
