  The relationship between the Father and Son. What's your opinion?

  i am curious about this.

  ever since i realized that there is no proof that jesus=michael the archangel, i wondered about who jesus was.

  that's how i think of the father and the son, or the word.

  Exactly, the physical is but a (3D) shadow (w52 7/15 pp. 437-445) of higher dimensional (4D+) spiritual realities.

  So the physical does give as an opportunity to reflect at some depth on the spiritual. Add the "free gift" of faith to the mix and we are able to discern more as you have above.

  Personally my focus is on the unabridged gospel (word or message) which the prophets proclaimed and which became flesh and dwelled amongst us in human and visible form, as the ultimate show casing and revelation of this message.

  Intriguing too is that the prophets it seems knew both the message and the person:

  "Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow. (NIV, 1 Peter 1:10,11).

  in talking to sparky the elder today (http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/263862/1/an-elder-called-me-hes-waking-up-and-knew-id-understand-nice-for-him-to-have-a-friend) i found out he did the accounts for our congregation for years.

  he said very rarely did the congregation meet its expenses without some well-off brother chipping in a few grand here and there.

  the elders would also make up the shortfall.

  Makes me think of a powerful comment and clip in a YouTube video about WTBS:

  they don't have "paid clergy" but rather "paying clergy"!

  Baylon the Great (the harlotrous WBTS's mother) would be delighted if they could find a way to pull the same scam, and still keep their tithes and offerings.

  it was a perfect spring day, and a jazz band were playing in the mall near my work.

  in front of the band, two watchtower literature carts stood in solidarity.

  i could not work out who were the jws attending them.

  to illustrate my question.... i am watching an episode of the australian tv program "q & a" on youtube.

  the panel includes the brilliant laurence krauss, gay bishop gene robinson, the woefully ignorant and bigoted rev fred nile and a few others.. the early questions put gene robinson under the spotlight and to be fair he comes across as a loving, compassionate, intelligent and - in his own words - "fabulous" person.

  by contrast the reverend nile is a caricature of everything that is dispicable and hateful about theism.. a self-righteous young man in the audience asks gene how he deals with the bible's condemnation of homosexuality.

  Google defines theism as: "Belief in the existence of a god or gods, esp. belief in one god as creator of the universe, intervening in it and sustaining a personal relation to his creatures."

  This unfortunately includes both religious and spiritual opposites.

  Religion has only ever impeded.

  When science was no longer controlled by religion it flourished.

  Human spirituality will also flourish when we remove it from the religious sphere and place it in the scientific where it belongs.

  Psychiatrist Stanislav Grof has for several decades done just this by advancing the cause of Transpersonal Psychology and by his "brilliant" scientific mapping or cartography of the Transpersonal domain.

  my jw and biological sister is getting married this weekend and 3 weeks ago i received a letter actually uninviting me to this showy display.

  so... i have a page on facebook... it's a page that just presents a little bit of watchtower publication quotes and then translates them to spanish.
