Any explanation from the WT as to why Adam and Eve did not have sex before they sinned? (and other Genesis stumpers)

(disclaimer- i know this is all fairy tales but i like to pick genesis apart since many millions still take it literally and is the foundtion of jw doctrine.

i was just reading through genesis yesterday, and it really hit me.

After God created a wife for Adam, what was his first command ? Genesis 1:28 "be fruitful and become many "

Now did Adam right away follow this pointed direction from the former GB (at this time called Jehovah or Yahwe) ?

Evidently he already developed a wicked heart of disobedience, since he did not appreciate the kind provision to produce offspring, he rather looked after his garden. Maybe he was thinking about building a big house in this system of things, making a career as gardener or even pursuing higher education by studying too much the animals around him. Even worse, in order to avoid producing offspring he must have evidently masterbated.

If he would have followed the example of his offspring Noah, who "did just so", he would have right away intercourse and made proper use of his given sexual organs. Then all the mess we have now would not have happened, and we as GB would not have to teach you dumbasses always the same things....

Now, at least, learn from his bad example, and listen to us, obey and be blessed.

Maybe, you will be able to wipe our ass in the coming paradise....

If you substitute 'Governing Body' and 'faithful and discreet slave' to

a single member of the governing body, for example david splane, i find it helps me to understand things a little better.. they have changed the meaning of 'faithful and discreet slave' to basically just 'the governing body'.. but that still allows them to print nice friendly 'we' and 'they' when giving directions (orders).. "we need to obey david splane to have jehovahs approval.

"[a mature christian] does not advocate or insist on personal opinions or harbor private ideas when it comes to bible understanding.

rather, he has complete confidence in the truth as it is revealed by jehovah god through his son, jesus christ, and david splane.

this site helped me to wake up, I would have never looked at any "apostate" site, even such great ones like jwfacts, but for some reason I stumbled on AJWRB, thinking initially it is from the LiasonC, but even as I realised, it is not official, the well written arguments caught my attention and convinced me how false the whole blood doctrine really is.

After that I slowly allowed other ideas to come in and started to question and explore the freedom of the mind...

actually in theory, the article was not so bad, but just in theory....

elders should adhere to the scriptures, well does it count for the elders who compromise the GB too ?

and where are the scriptures for beard, higher education, blood fractions, monthly report, etc ?

British museum bible tours

visiting london years ago i had the chance to participate on a bible tour arranged from bethel.

what i remember, it was one out of 12 topics, and a brother or sister served as a guide, showing particular objects related to bible accounts.. at that time, i was quite enthusiastic about it, thinking i learned something valuable.. .

now, being awake to ttatt, i wonder what real scientific value those tours served.. or rather it raises the suspicion, that those tours are for visiting witnesses in order to distract them from many other finds in the museum, that would disprove either the bible or their own theology.. anybody ever made such a tour ?.

yes, I did the assyrian tour also, remembering how cruel they treated their prisoners.

Anyway, youre absolutely right about cherrypicking, not just the bible, also news, scientific recoveries, life expereinces etc..

its called confirmation bias.

at the meetings i've noticed over the past 2 years or so brothers asking for 'special blessings' for the governing body.

it was everyonce in a while at first.

now it is almost at every single meeting!

Atheism and Theism are only partly right!

today we know that matter and energy are interchangeable, hence they are there always in either form, they are eternal, hence requires no creator.

hence atheism is right in rejecting a creator, but failed in providing any motivation for people to do good.

religions, in their effort to provide a motivating factor for humans to do good, introduced creation stories and other myths; hence they too are right (as far as their intention is concerned), yet failed in producing any worthy resultsworld was steadily moving from bad to worse and from worse to worst!.

After Tony's Talk: how are GB members selected and by who?

after the shamefull tony morris iii talk in italy, i am thinking about how it is possible that a multi billion corporation is managed by 8 old crazy man?.

who's selecting new gb members?

is it enough to be a extreme manager-elder, then getting promotion to a manager-co / do, put the organization strictly first and on who's radar you have to be?.

In last sundays WT they explained, atht the appointment of elders by holy spirit happens, because a brother must fulfil the requirements outlined in the inspired word of God.

So were are the requirements for GB members in the scriptures ? If they are not there (obviously, since even a GB is not mentioned), this means, that the appointment must happen directly, like God or Jesus speaks to them or writes them an email (yes jehovahs chariot is moving in line with newest technology).

I beleive, with an answer to this question the whole thing stands or falls....
