A new member
by LP97 ini'm a 17 year old from scotland.
can i just say this site is absolutely brilliant.
finally found people with open minds and free thought that doesn't just consist of "well the wt told me this so it must be right".. my story is that i'm just like any other child of a jw...brought up into a life of indoctrination where "the world's" thinking is automatically wrong.. that is until i was 14 - a light turned on in my head.

My old CoBE, has had three of of his four kids go off the rails, his wife had an affair with another brother in the congregation and his son is who has a total hypocrite.
He knows who I am on here, I hope he reads my posts. I also hope he dies horribly and painfully, a perfect candidate to contract Ebola.

How to Avoid the Faithless Spirit of most here-
by DocHouse in1- pray to god (whomever you may imagine him to be) asking for understanding.
2- study the background about the bible (from non-religious sources) to see where it came from.
3- discard (or at least set aside) chuyrch claims and dogma.. 4- read it, looking up archaeological/historical sources about the places and peoples referred to.

they will start up with that RA believed in evolution
Richard and David are easily mixed-up - lol.
However we mustn't forget that Richard did some genetic engineering experiments with dinosaurs.

How does the new breed of 'werecats' fit into evolution?
by EndofMysteries inincase you haven't heard yet, there is now a new breed of cat, the lykoi.
now this cat is the result of some mutation that occassionally happened and some breeders got 2 of these cats that got this mutation and successfully breed them, and now there are breeders and it's a type of cat now.
this cat has a preditory nature, they say it's similar to a hound dog.

Selective breeding is a way of accelerating evolution. In the wild it is unlikely that the two animals mated by the breeder would have done so and the breed resulting from this union would not have existed.

What is this new jw.org religion?
by EndofMysteries ini recently was on a trip in central america.
any kingdomhall i passed by had jw.org banners or scribble that went over what used to say kingdomhall.
in a flea market, and other business areas, i saw the infamous literature cart out.
