  Watches: mens mechanical facination

  lots of guys have a mechanical facination, be it cars or building things or one of a hundred other ways.

  one area in particular is watches.

  i have a few that i love.. a personal fav is my tissot sea star 1000. cant post a pic atm but its an awesome watch.... .

  I too have a fascination with watches.

  My dream watch would be a Vacheron Constantin 18K.

  I do have a nice gold TAG Heuer 3000, a Movado Museum, a Kienzle Titanium Chronograph, a gold Buliva that I had restored (30's). and a diamond Wittenauer.

  Class action lawsuit - how does one get the ball rolling?

  unless you've been living under a rock you know that a court in california has found the wts guilty of negligence in covering over child abuse, and the wts has ben ordered to pay $20 million + to the victim.. also, unless you've been living under a rock, you know that there are thousands, probably 10's of thousands, of similar victims of wts coverups regarding sexual abuse still out there.. now that the precedent has been set - now that the wts was not able to settle out of court, and has been found guilty - now that this is international news, and literally millions of people are aware of it - it seems that now may be the time to strike even more deeply.. i am not an attorney, but there are a few who post on the board, and others who have a deeper understanding of legal matters.. what would it take to begin a class action lawsuit against the wts?

  how exactly does the process start?

  does it matter which state it starts in?

  I believe individual lawsuits are the way to go.

  Do you realize that 10,000 lawsuits won like in the Conti case (a realistic number), would mean the WTS would owe almost half a TRILLION in damages to victims?

  Media exposure be damned, Money is the only thing that will kill the Borg!

  My take on the Lett Family:

  His father was a CO for the congregation I attended as a teenager. He actually was a pleasant older man and a great speaker. He started in the circuit work late, after becoming empty nesters. I bet they were happy to get away form baby Stephen.

  Approximately 20 years later, Stephen became a CO for my circuit. I was looking forward to his first visit to our Hall. I will never forget his first talk. The huge wide open mouth, the ridiculous over gesturing, and the crazed facial contortions. At first I thought he was doing it on purpose to make a point, and was going to tell why later. He continued on like that because that was his style. He creeped me out.

  I remember how cold his wife was to everyone too. Let's just say that there probably was an icemaker between her thighs.

  Medical Marijuana, Your opinion please?

  do any of you use medical marijuana?

  i go to aa and there are a few who believe medical marijuana is an "outside issue" and they are ok with it.

  i don't know... alcohol doesn't work for me but if it did, i would use it... i wish i could find a "new drug" that works lol.
