Dear writing department,
we would like you to prepare an article which clearly layes out our position on beards. To summarize it, brother Tony would like to remark Beards are not for christians but only for "transvestites, drug users, mexicans and other perverts", brother Morris points out all jews had Beards and in fact is obligatory under the mosaic law and brother lett remarks it is not something the bible teaches a specific position on.
please state our position in simple terms suitable for instructing the Christian congregation in the coming decades and importantly with full scriptual support.
with Christian love,
the governing body.
we will not weigh you down with burdensome lists, as you have the freedom to choose, but here is our list anyway.some snippets:.
the law showed jehovah’s strong feelings against clothing that does not make clear the distinction between male and female—what has been described in our day as unisex fashion.

Good catch. I think wifibandit might have scoped you on this one (he posted a building with a tennis court on top and it looks a bit like this), but the article contains more information. apparently they bought it in 1991 -- why on earth do they buy a building with a tennis court on top and do not change it for 25 years?!

here are the morning program highlights.
will update for the afternoon once it's all over.
according to our sources belgium bethel will be very soon closed and the building sold.... selters germany bethel will take care of this area....
Wow. Thanks for the update! I guess this new-news? I.e. in addition to all all the announcements of sell-offs that came in half a year back.
ps.
If anyone has any news at all on the scandinavian bethel I would be very interested (you can PM and I promise to keep things confident)
being brought up as a jehovah's witness means you are so used to the term that you rarely stop to think about it.. one thing i've noticed is that people unfamiliar with the religion will say "jehovah witness" (no 's) instead which i always found a bit grating.. but watching the us election, something struck me.
people are often referred to as "trump supporters", not "trump's supporters" and so on.
thinking about other things, people would say they were "united fan's", not "united's fans" and so on.. it seems weird that a group would refer to themselves as though it was someone else talking about them (in the 3rd person, if i have that right).. what do you think?
You are going to love this abbreviation I often encounter here in my country:
"Jehovahs"
as as: "The Jehovahs are not allowed to celebrate birthdays" lol.
