Can we just call this advertising/spam for another ex-jw cult/tabloid and move on? It's painfully obvious what's going on here: The only reason koolaid posts on this site is to promote links to his own vested interests - to get traffic from this site, onto his site. He's not here for 'discussion' or to contribute in a meaningful away.

i know if you join the military it is considered that you have dissassociated yourself...but if you are in an accident and are given blood when you are unconcious...is that in itself reason for df?
or what if you willingly accepted a blood transfusion?
what if you do not show remorse or repentance or even refuse to meet with the elders?
They may CLAIM to consider it DA'ing yourself...
But I bet the process for 'retracting' that disassociation is exactly the same as the re-instatement process. Is this correct?

hey i'm wondering if anyone can give some good advice on how to step down in the safest way.. i have served as an ms for a number of years, but can't do it anymore.
i know too much i want to fade in the future when i get some family things straightened out.
i can't move right now so that's out unfortunately.. what should i tell the body?
I think the "best" way to step down is to find a nice pioneer sister, buy a bottle of Grey Goose, and let nature take it's course.

roger ebert is one of my all time heroes.
the fact that he still writes great movie reviews even after losing his voice to cancer just adds to his legacy.
i read his reviews whenever i can and he is still articulate as ever.
At the end of the day.. the game industry has surpassed the movie industry in size and profit, and profit is good. Recognition for artistic design and storytelling is nice too, though.
Ebert shuns and insults the hard work of an entire industry. So, I gladly throw insults at him. He deserves it. BOOO!!

Acording to Ebert "video games are not art".
Ebert can go f* himself.
I make art.
And I'll tell you this: Making a video game requires a DAMN lot more work and skill than Ebert has ever exhibited. Video games (excluding facebook/iphone crap) take cinema into the next fronteer - instead of experiencing the story from a 3rd person perspective, games put you in the first person... an extremely complicated thing to do.
So, yeah, I think Ebert sucks.

but i'm a freaking nut too.
i seriously believe that there must be alien life out there!
Persaonlly, I avoid "believing in" things as much as possible.
The one thing I do beleive.. is that if we put our minds to it, we humans can make a better world.
If that is nonsense... then no 'god' can save us, and we are simply doomed. At best, all that any god can do is perpetually clean our litter box.
