Local Congregation Takes Away My Dad's Phone Hook-Up (HE'S 85 YRS. OLD)

they say that this is direction from the "branch office".
i think it's complete bs, the real reason why they are doing this is to punish me & my family because i am basically a ghost when it comes to meetings & any type of activity.

Since I assumed POA responsibilities for my Dad, the Borg has received the sum total of zero dollars from him. The cash flow came to a screeching halt when I took over. He had been giving them thousands of dollars.

Nice Old Dears Tried to "Witness" to me Today
by cofty inan older man and wife - ray and mary - got chatting to me today.
they were tourists admiring local wildlife.
i gave them a few tips on where to go to see some interesting things and it wasn't long before they were telling me about how awful the world is "nowadays" and paradise yadda yadda.

It is very interesting that they continued chatting with you after you told them you were no longer a Witness. I guess they didn't have any literature on them that they wanted to share with you.

Has the Great Witness Trolley/Cart campaign produced ANY results?
by freddo ini live between two cities that are big enough to have their own metropolitan trolley cart arrangements organised at circuit level.
the 3 congregations at the hall i attend have trolley schedule noticeboards.
i see trolleys in the high streets and markets locally.

a) A major grocery store
b) Nursing homes
c) Shopping Malls
d) Gas stations
e) Restaurants (preferrably sushi)
f) A major hardware store
g) Wal-Mart

The ancients thought God to be all things, both good and evil. Christians are the ones who separated the 2 because logic dictates if you are good, doing evil negates this.
I can supply personal experiences that good does exist. As for God, this was the ancients way of defining the undefinable. Even present day believers who do not understand how something wonderful has happened conclude 'God did it'.
