  The second quake measured 7.3 on the Richter scale and came minutes after the initial 7.8-magnitude strike, the US Geological Survey said.

  Scary..... It wont be long for the big one to hit Australia..

  part n letter on swine flu

  some letter was read last week at meetings about how the next week meaning this current week there would be a part on swine flu.

  i dont know exactly what the letter said but this is what i know.

  and so this week the local needs will be used for that topic, anyone know what they got going?

  That new light and the swine flu scare, has directed that we not hold hands during the prayer at the hall or shake hands when greeting one another – and definitely no kissing! (Insert 3 scriptures here to back up this new light). And oh, nearly forgot, due to petrol/gas prices coming down, could all please contribute more money to the world wide work.....

  1914 only mentioned ONCE in new book! Can anyone confirm this?

  in the new release, 'bearing thorough witness about gods kingdom' i could only find a single reference to 1914 on page 31. this is it;.

  "each year, hundreds of thousands accept this offer and become baptized disciples of christ.

  Hi Nicolaou,

  It won’t be long before 1914 isn’t mentioned at all, and a whole new generation of witlesses will not even know what all the fuss was about! I am sure that with time, the new CD roms will delete a lot of the incorrect prophecies and dates so that any newbie investigating the org will not be able to verify what we nasties tell them. Thank goodness for hardbound copies.....

  Wow, I feel for you mate, really do. Though I hope you realise what you are going through is not unique. Like me, you will find a lot of support and common experiences on this board. Personally, my marriage is much better since I stopped going, wifey still goes though isn’t active. I hope things work out well for you, though the mental anguish does get better after you fade out.

  Any WINE buffs on here ?

  i am not an expert on wine, can't afford to be, but i do like a good one,preferably red, but i have tasted some excellent rose and white.. my question is for the benefit of my sister in law, she is a chain smoker, and perhaps for that reason cannot abide a wine that is even slightly dry, she only drinks white,but does not enjoy the sweet white she has bought (cheapo bottles) so sticks lemonade in medium or dry white.. that is o.k if she is paying, but i often buy a good quality white, around $20 , and she desecrates it by pouring in the lemonade !.

  can anyone recommend a wine,not too expensive,that she would enjoy ?

  i suppose for her strange palate it would have to be "sweet" , but she hates sickly sweet.
