Check out 2 Timothy 3:1-5 and after reading it take a look around you in this World and note how most people are behaving. That prophecy is so accurate its frightening.

Unfortunately BUT true ,

the inspired words in 2 Tim 3:1-5 do describe exactly the situation within "God's earthly/visible organisation" at the time of the end !

Why ?

because , for long time now (from 1942 onward) there wasn't any "revelation "

Proverbs 29:

18. Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint;
but blessed is he who keeps the law.

The history of 1914

i am still going through the questioning my faith stage as i just discovered the inconsistencies of the org.

it was 1914 that really threw me for a loop.

i have never been completely sold on the "new light" policy.

what HAS Jesus been doing since 1914?

-- well, He is reigning in Heaven from the time of His ascension - but not on earth !

... how did they arrive at the date? Was it the same way Rutherford did using Daniel?

-- I know how they arrived to this data !

it is written in the Bible.....Jeremiah 2

12. Be appalled at this, O heavens, and shudder with great horror," declares the LORD.

13. "My people have committed two sins:
--- They have forsaken me, the spring of living water,
--- and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.

So , that data (as others ) was "found" because they (as God's people ) did not used the Bible in a correctly way /they did not rely on God's word , as truth,

but they have dug cisterns .. that is , they have rely (past tense) in other "sources" (extra biblical ones ) for their findings ....

The reality is that God didn't gave to them the understanding of the biblical datas found in Daniel and Revelation until around 8 years ago.

Here I have tried to explain a little the chronology.

Regarding when the Kingdom was settled in Heaven (or when Jesus was enthroned , I wrote here .

All of the high and lofty appointments I metioned at the beginning of this writing, that the Governing Body bestows upon themeselves, constitute that Organization as "sitting down in the Temple of God Professing themselves to be God." The reason being, was it to be true Jehovah did have such an earthly Organization, at this time; only Jehovah himself could make such appointments, by taking those appointments for themselves, they are actually professing to be God themselves, just as Paul predicted the Man of Lawlessness, would do.

Who really is the Faithful Slave?

who really is the faithful slave?.

not so long ago i had a conversation with one of the witnesses at my door, and i drew his attention to the fact that nowhere in matthew 24 - mark13 - luke 21 did jesus mention any appointed organization on the earth, when he gave the sign of his coming.

i pointed out to him that all jesus foretold was the prevalence of many false prophets.
