Thats fantastic yknot, I really appreciate that! Thanks!
Everastudent, thanks... I was quite clued up about everything until around 3 years ago when I just stopped looking. Any scandals since then?

) and if possible the nwt interlinear.

If anybody can help me on this. I can pay postage and maybe something small towards the books if you want. I have been gone now for 7 years and I am wondering if they still use the 'Reasoning' book or if it has since been replaced.
i was just wondering how a jehovah's witness would answer this.. in john 5:22, the nwt states:.
"the father judges no one, but has committed all the judging to the son".
in rev 18:8, the nwt states:.
I was just wondering how a Jehovah's Witness would answer this.
In John 5:22, the NWT states:
"The Father judges no one, but has committed all the judging to the son"
In Rev 18:8, the NWT states:
(speaking of the fall of Babylon) "...because Jehovah God, who judged her, is strong"
Another translation of that verse reads:
"for mighty is the Lord God who judges her"
Since the WT rejects the concept of the trinity, how do they explain this verse? If Jehovah committed all judging to the son, why does the NWT say 'Jehovah has judged her'
Any comments very much appreciated.

one of the ways a website can be shut down is a technique call ddos (distributed denial of service).
the way this works is very simple: if you have enought people loading a particual website over and over again the web server gets overwhelmed and cannot function... effectivly shutting down the website.. you can help do this to the iranian government websites by loading the following page:.

What a load of nonsense, it's Iran's problem let them deal with it
hi.. i got caught offguard by the mormons today whilst out walking my dogs.
there were two of them and one called out to me and mentioned something about talking to other people about christ, so i immediately told them i did not agree with them at all and didn't trust any group who suggest theyy are 'the one'.. i spoke for around 20 minutes because i didnt want them to think i was running away through lack of education, and i went over things like how much you can trust joseph smith since he was a raving mason etc and how i thought it was a religion by men for men, but this mormon guy was really smug and basically just answered with a smug nod of his head and replied 'we've prayed to god and he's told us the way to live is the mormon church'.
this was really a cop out and he couldn't answer much, particularly concerning the need for the book of mormon and he knew very little scripture indeed.. the other mormon seemed much nicer and was from germany - a lot more respectful.. but what really got me annoyed was my inability to argue decent points and found myself nodding along trying desperately to think of a counter argument but none came.
Hi.
I got caught offguard by the Mormons today whilst out walking my dogs. There were two of them and one called out to me and mentioned something about talking to other people about Christ, so I immediately told them I did not agree with them at all and didn't trust any group who suggest theyy are 'the one'.

But what really got me annoyed was my inability to argue decent points and found myself nodding along trying desperately to think of a counter argument but none came. Last time I spoke with the Witnesses (about 6 years ago) I was so on the ball and could really argue my point - this time, I didnt have a clue.
Anybody else frustrated through their loss of scriptual reasoning after so long away from the witnesses?
hi everyone, long time no post but i wanted your opinion on something please.. well a friend of mine has just got a corn snake.
its a baby but it will grow up to 6ft.
i never considered myself anti-snake because i know people do have phobias on them, but seeing it in action, including the way it eats, has really put me off - not only snakes, but also, the friendship.
Most animals spread disease, and snakes kill humans. Whats your point?

I never considered myself anti-snake because I know people do have phobias on them, but seeing it in action, including the way it eats, has really put me off - not only snakes, but also, the friendship. That sounds really lame, and I dont mean completely discard of this person, but for some reason, I have a feeling of distance from this person all of a sudden.
Ive been watching a few videos as to how people feed their snakes, and they feed them rats, mice and 'pinkies' which are dead *or alive* new born mice. I cant believe the level of cruelty going on, some people throw live animals into the tank. Before you say its only nature, well ok but how about I throw you into the lions den and let nature take its course? Some people throw rats into the bath where they know it isnt going to escape.
But anyhow, seeing this person talk and pett their snake is really discomforting. They feed it little dead mice like a mother breast feeds her baby. The way the snake eats is horrible.
So my question is, 'Do you think snakes have emotion?'
I mean, is the close relationship justified? Is it just a cold blooded beast with no emotion at all?
I just cant understand this attraction to snakes and certainly cant understand why people would want to sacrifice mice to give to a snake.
I'm a real nature person but this I just cannot understand.
interesting site.... http://www.secularism.org.uk/debaptism.html.
"the growing amount of interest in the concept of de-baptism indicates that people are not just indifferent to religion which has been the traditional british approach but are actually becoming quite hostile to it.".
- terry sanderson.
A little sad to go through with something like that for something so 'inconsequential' as a belief in Jesus and God? I have always wondered why fundamental athiests go through so much to 'prove' the non-existance of God.
