Hi,
I have been AWOL for a while. I lost my husband to cancer after a long couragous battle of 5 years. I honored his wishes with a Catholic mass. My youngest JW (active) sister attended, sat in the back row and cried. My other sister and BIL attended the after reception. I have received a number of sympathy cards from JWs. His "service" was a great tribute to him. Quite unlike the "infomercial" given at the KH.

I am truly sorry to hear about your loss and can't imagine how hard it must have been and is for you. I hope you are doing okay and have loving support around you.

I hope my missus (JW) honors my wishes with an Anglican service. (She is an Apostate Anglican). Her father's service was a credit to his faith and has helped me in my recovery.
I send you an extra big hug for giving him his Catholic mass.
