Funny book about JW's about to be published.
by TheEndIsNigh inhi gang, i would really appreciate if you could take a look at my blog about the book i've written re the witnesses.
i've aimed to have a laugh at all the madness that i experienced in the 20 years i spent in the 'truth'.. i'm using the blog to get some positive comments so i can get the book published.
i've already had lot's of help.

Jehovah's Witnesses Rescue Mostly Blind Goat!
by minimus inaccording to 2tricities.com, a "group of jehovah's witnesses saved 4 month old beulah from a watery grave" in old fort, w.virginia.. 17 year old autumn stoddard of marion said, "we just kept hearing this crying throughout the whole neighborhood.
i didn't even knock on the door because i could tell it was starting to go under".. the owners of the goat were very happy that the jehovah's witnesses saved the goat.. .

I guess the fact the goat was mostly blind and not fully blind is the reason the JWs were able to rescue it. Satan obviously hadn't completed the job of 'blinding' it yet. No doubt the follow up newspaper article will be about these JW rescuers amazingly transforming this poor blind goat into a sheep with perfect eyesight.

A little story to make you smile!

dw and mil territory are due to go on the first weekend of july but that won't be happening as we are on holiday!.
add in that this weekend is a festival in town and the weekend after is a party the wife was more than keen to get the whole thing out of the way!.

Planted a seed today... Update on de-program of my 16 year old son
by Aussie Oz inwell, some of you know that i have a 16 year old son who lives with his jw mother.
she has already mastered the art of guilt control on him.
i am most anxious that he not get baptized at all or at least unless he has really understood the whole truth, not just the watchtower truth.

in georgia recently, a religious "criminal" died.
this one had been brought to account.

not a captive - that was so well done. And thank you for helping expose the evil ways of the WTS. I hope that not only some JWs read this, but many non JWs in your area will read it and ask questions about it next time witnesses knock on their door.

Elder "predicts" how many jws are going to live
by XPeterX inparents went to a jw gathering to read the wt for this week.a jw said that only 5 people out of 125 in my congo will survive armageddon and then that elder said: "no,not 5 people,maybe 20".

About 4 years ago around the time my husband and I were newly fading there was a CO visit (which we didn't attend) where the CO said that there were many in the congregation who could be termed 'the living dead'. Those that were slack about meeting attendance and field service etc who were all going to die at Armageddon anyway.
So of course after that visit the self righteous pioneer sisters in the congregation felt they had the right to walk around with their haughty, judgemental opinions and gossip about those they felt deserved the label of 'the living dead'.

Ray Franz has had a stroke
by coffee_black injust setting the record straight.
there is another thread that notes a claim on wiki that said that ray has died.. he had a stroke yesterday, and is in the hospital.
he is still alive.

This is very very sad news. Sending thoughts of love and strength to Cynthia to help her get through these next few terrible days.
I'm very grateful that this lovely, kind and brave man is leaving a wonderful legacy with his books - a legacy that will live on and help many many more break free from the WTS.

A few new pictures from Alaska
by upnorth inlast week (i left on 5-17-10) i was sent to juneau to work i took about 5 gb worth of pictures and a few short video clips.
the camera was a nikon coolpix l22, it's a pretty decent little camera.
unfortunately it had a dust spot or two under the lens.
