  bikerchic (katie) and her son joey are halfway here to portland, or.

  staying over in sacramento for the night.. god how anxious i am to have her here with me!!

  i would appreciate some input from the boards most revered jw scholars.

  i am not certain why i feel compelled to have some questions answered by the kremlin (read wts.

  ) maybe that i need final closure in order that i may move on, or i am seeking a little revenge.. first off, a little background on my situation.

  as a youngster raised in the "truth", i had my questions.

  but anytime you ask a question that is unanswerable, you are told to just wait on jehovah.

  as time passes, i believe that we store up a number of unanswerable questions that forces one to eventually think about everything.

  Stupid drunk drivers......

  my house is at the end of a fairly busy street that dead ends in our front yard and then takes up again a few houses down.

  i was trying to set up some email stuff for a client tonight around 10:30 when i heard some police sirens.

  i stood up and looked out my window to see a pair of headlights quickly coming towards my house with the police behind them.

  well all i just wanted to write and tell you that i had a job interview today and i got offered a job that i really really want!!!!

  it comes with a car and it is good salary and great benefits.

  i am finally living all this stuff i always wanted to.

  When LOVE surpasses Religion

  but the purpose of this posting is to express my sentiments about the death of my jw aunt over the weekend.

  as many of you know i have very strained relationship with my dub family - being around them is the last thing i want to do.

  Dearest Larry,

  I was so greatful to meet you and your wife in NYC. I am sorry we didn't have a chance to speak longer, but there were sooooo many there.

  The bond you have with your aunt is one I wish I had with a member in my family. The kindness and love she showed you, she has also passed to you. When I met you I remember a calm coming over me and feeling like I had known you and your wife for a long time. I am truely sorry for your loss, but I am glad you got to bear your heart to her before she did pass. That has to be healing in it self.

  I send my condolences from me and my family.

  I do hope we can get together someday and be able to talk longer then we did. I also wanted to thank you for stopping me and introducing yourself and your wife (she is beautiful) to me. I hope we can do it again soon.

  Your pics from egypt are divine!!! I love egyptian culture. The hotel I stayed in, in Vegas was the Luxor and it was gorgeous!! I wish I could see the REAL thing.

  Jobs that the WTS doesn't approve of

  there were several different careers that the wts did not aprove of.

  such as a being a cop, for having a gun.

  couldn't be a martial arts instructor.. maybe it was a well paying career.. did you have a job that was not approved of?

  I was a stripper untill this past Feb, I retired. They never brought up stripping as a job not approved.............mmmmmmmmmm I wonder???

  WHAT IS DEJA VU??

  i think everyone has had an experience with deja vu; i know i have and it's really freaky when it happens.

  i'll be standing there talking to someone and that feeling comes over me that i've done this before; i've had the exact same conversation with this person and i can even predict what they're going to say.. with someone i know, that's one thing; having this experience with someone i've never met before is really bizarre.. i've heard all kinds of theorys as to what deja vu is: a "delay" in the brain, reincarnation, someone in the future has changed the past and we sometimes 'repeat' things, it's all in your head, it's satan.......... i'd be interested to hear what sort of experiences you've had with deja vu and what you think it is........ .

  All kidding aside,

  I will never forget. I was maybe about 10 or 11 and I was still "in the troof". I had a dream that we were at this sister's house and I watched from a small distance away, my mother and this sister having a conversation. I remembered it word for word. I don't remember the conversation now. I do remember watching in awe as I was whispering every word they were saying AS they were saying it. We didn't go over to their house often so I know this hadn't happened before. After it was over, the part that I could recite, I pulled my mother to the side confused and kinda scared since I didn't know or understand why I knew this.

  I told her about the dream I had, which had been about a yr before it actually happened right it frount of my eyes. I remember telling my mom the story as I was shaking from excitement and fear.

  My mom dismissed it completely, and told me I was making it up or overreacting. I will never forget that day!!!!! I KNOW I saw what I saw and their was no explanation for it.

  I have had this happen to me alot since then, with different things. Like going to a resturant or a person's house ( I had never been before) and knowing where things are before I actually saw them. For example, like where the bathroom is, or a certain picture hanging on a particular wall. I have been able to watch myself have a conversation with someone and then catch myself in that same coversation and I know the answer or responce to something I have said before I even say it.

  It is very strange to me, but I still have no explanation for it. I find it really neat when it does happen and I no longer am afraid, but still wonder why this happens.
