I am glad to hear she is doing good. Operations of any kind make me uneasy, I hope she can relax a little. Send her all of our love and support.

my daughter, lisa, had her operation and she is doing fine, she is comming home in a few hours.
they didn't find what was causing her pain though.
the doc said that was true in about 30% of these cases and many times it could be stress.

i ran across this shocking article and thought it might be of interest:.
http://www.stetson.edu/~psteeves/relnews/0108a.html.
with extreme cynicism and brutality an ex-convict made short work of a female sectarian from the "jehovah's witnesses" religious society.
How sad!!! How sad for anyone to have to go through something like this when their intentions were good.

Shera, I understand your concern. I would like to add though the statistics show you should be more weary of the people you already know. I am not try to sound like I know it all, but I recently watched a show where the chances of a stranger harming your child were considerably LESS than with people you already know.
007---how disturbing indeed, not a role model I would want my child around. If the story is true the coach deserves what he gets!!!!!!
since leaving or being in the process of leaving your religion, do you feel more uninhibited or sexually adventurous than before?
I was a virgin when I left, not anymore and I will leave it at that.
if you've been associated with the witnesses, believing in god was a necessity.
do you still feel that god exists?
if you believe in god, do you feel that he cares about you?
I believe in my conscience.
When I used to pray I NEVER felt I was being heard, just talking to myself.
I am a good person (most of the time) and try to life my life in a way that's kind and giving to myself and those around me.
I used to wear a cross, but I was only doing it out of rebellion.

(((((((((((((((((((Yeru)))))))))))))))))))))))))
I am so sorry!!! You are in my thoughts!!!! Take care hon!!
i've noticed that the friends forum on this board gets about twenty-five times the number of posts as forums such as bible research and beliefs, doctrines & practices.
do you think that says something about most of the posters here?
if so, what?
Ya What Kelpie said!!!!
another fluff topic that has no useful purpose whatsoever.
i have a big foot.
my shoe size is 12 wide.
size 6 here
it wasn't that long ago that i was a newbie here and hung on every thread and reply.
in the short time i've been here, many things i've learnt, many attitudes, many opinions, but the one thing i remember most of all is how i was welcomed here.
never ever underestimate how a simple hello can mean to a newbie.. j gull
I remember when I was new and I was very intimidated by this forum. I was very welcomed here and it made me feel sooooooo good and secure being here. I try to welcome everyone I see who is new, I don't get to them all but I do try. Thank you for this thread, it really is nice to know how important it can be cause you NEVER know why the person is here and if they REALLY need the support, even if it is as simple as a WELCOME!!!!!!!!!
Jesika
now that you no longer have any real restrictions, have you allowed yourself to do something "naughty"?
what's your worst vice?
My worst vice is cigs and drinking (not in excess ).
I used to have worse ones when I was in a sever depression, but have gotten over that by the help of my bf and my son (my son didn't know what it was, just seeing him did enough to make me quit).
