I know the following is not the type of story you are probably looking for, but I feel very loved every M-F when I walk up to my front door at 4:30 P.M. after a long day of work and see my 3 cats waiting for me with three dead animals at their feet.
i resigned as an elder some time ago, have been working on fading, the wife is getting used to the new 'me' (not stressed, better husband and father, etc.
), been missing a lot of meetings... even received a few statements such as: 'hi burnedout, it's good to see you!!!
last sunday, i took my one of my sons to the local dragstrip to show him the races, oops missed the meeting.

I believe it is best to let your parents have their beliefs - it is who they are. Go enjoy your life and live it to the full (as I can see you are doing by your pictures on Facebook). Show respect to them as your parents, play your cards right and you can have the best of both worlds (Yours and your family's)

and it was very popular with the jws.. i did not believe a word of it - even at the time.
did not believe in the "demons" either - with or without the slime.. it got me to thinking - how much of this did a small back room of your mind reject?

my wife and my close friend life is too short is recovering from a hernia operation performed yesterday.
she is doing fine, just a bit sore .
she worked really hard in bethel and had a hernia before from lifting too much in her job back there.
