  Yup! I remember giving a public talk (one that I had given a bunch of times) not paying attention to what I was saying but rather discounting it all in my mind while speaking.
  
  I actually prayed at a meeting about a month ago. I was practically giggling. My wife who knows my position on this B.S. religion was shaking her head and watching me pray with a shit eatin' grin.
  
  I am sure I was only asked to pray as it would be encouraging to me!- Either that or Holy Spirit directed me.

  i used to tell what i thought was secret information that i had heard from bethelites and c.o.

  's and long-time elders, things that i honestly believed.. here are two of them:.

  i used to say that ray franz was invited to brooklyn bethel for the funeral when fred franz died, since he is his nephew.

  My marriage is falling apart!

  over breakfast, my wife and i discussed the feeling of distance between us.

  i haven't kept her for going to meetings or anything of the sort.

  yet, since i've left the organization - she has been more distant from me.

  Just wondering if you think the benefits of Disassociating are worth the shunning. I am convinced this is why no one has turned me in for my "apostasy".

  Momz, Great post! I actually still go to a meeting here and there as well as most assemblies as this seems to soften up the wife to my stance. I know she is wondering what "life everlasting" will be like without me and questions how I don't want to live forever with my kids. I'm trying the patience route.

  on monday, october 20th, in elk city, oklahoma, a jehovah's witness knocked on my very good friend's door.

  she did not know at the time that he was a jw but he was passing out literature.

  she thought it might be someone out campaigning for a political candidate.
