  This particular case has brought attention to the self protecting image doctrine set out by the WTS., when they gave instruction to their elders to

  only report situations of child abuse to the law authorities, when it is only required by local laws.

  That tells much how truly concerned about children they are, in their health and well being and how concerned they (WTS) are about their outward

  public image. Didn't they at one time throw dirt at the Catholic religion for what that religion did to cover over its problem ?

  Maybe the WTS. should take the time to throw dirt on to itself.

  Sorry JWS your religion is just like all the rest of them out their, full of pretentious lies and corruption.

  Wouldn't the posed question be more appropriate to ask if the WT organization should be guilty in any situational case of pedophilia,

  if a event occurred and the elders of the congregation did not report it to the secular authorities ?

  In these modern social times, pedophilia is a very serious crime, drawing severe penalties upon people who conduct

  themselves in this kind of behavior. Being that the JWS try to emulate the social morals laws of the ancient Hebrews such as

  implying that there must be two witnesses to a grievous crime, a person may very well exploit this arrangement to commit harmful things

  upon people whom they associate with, even toward children.

  There have been many child abuse situations within the JW organization where individuals never got legally charged or spent a day in jail,

  that in itself should be seen as a crime that was never punished.

  The other important reason why pedophilia behavior should be brought up to the proper authorities is that perpetrators are known to re-offend

  putting the whole public in dangerous peril.

  But I'm still at a loss, in specifics, of what the Congregation should do when a Pedophile/Murderer/Rapist moves in.

  Wouldn't you like to know if a person such as this moved into your congregation and started to associate with your own children ?

  As we all know, the organization mandates to protect the name and sanctity of their organization, first and foremost.

  In engaging in this endeavor they've covered over situations of child abuse, with detrimental consequences to a few members of

  their organization. Sexual abused toward children is far above any common sin such as fornication or adultery and should

  be handled with much greater attention as a dangerous and damaging social behavior.

  The WTS. put themselves in a precarious position when they instructed their elders to only contact the legal authorities in cases

  of pedophilia, when it was only acquired by the local authorities.

  Any fracture placed upon the walls of the Watchtower Kingdom is a good thing for all humanity.

  Its had its long run exploiting people's ignorance and insecurities to establish power and control over people.

  Its corruption as an organization is now being laid bare for all to see, yes even to those still inside the Kingdom Halls.

  District Convention Lunches... Invisibly present since... (1995)?

  anyone remember when they quit providing lunch?

  was it around the same time that the publications went to "complete donation bases"?.

  The assembly lunches and dinners were not really that of an enjoyable experience.

  There was usually long line ups to be served as well to purchased tickets, the food was so so because it had to be prepared

  well before it was to be served.

  There were usually shortages, so if you were late in line sometimes you were left out.

  Most times you had to stand and eat because to seat all the people where the food was being served would be impossible in most cases.

  I know of a lot of witnesses just left after the Sunday program ended because they just didn't want to stand in line and they pretty much

  had enough of the assembly experience in general.

  my wife asked me if i believe that christ came to power in 1914. sadly this question shows how little she knows even about her own religion as she knows the heart of my problems with the society start with the 607 bc debacle.

  obviously no 607 means no 1914. alas....the conversation eventually morphed and it got to the point where i decided to ask her a point blank question.

  what would it take to get you to realize that your religion is false?

  The WTS's doctrines were and are intensionally entrench in lies and corruption because it was always a publishing house.

  The movement of dates around and change of proclamations, is to incite attention to the WTS's published works and to keep

  those whom they've mentally indoctrinated to distribute their publications publicly.

  In reality JWS are being shaped and molded to be the WTS's sales representatives.

  This is the main psychological working of this organization, to lure people in and then exploit them for work and money,

  all the while cultivating a semblance of empowerment to a select few men.

  It is a religious businesses if you like where there is a pyramid statue of power leading up to the head executive editorial writers the GB

  of the WTS. Power and money is their game and they are on a agenda to keep it flowing toward themselves.
