Do JWs believe that animals were created to live in harmony? Lion and the lamb

thanks to all who replied to my first post, i appreciate you taking the time to do so.. i left jws for my own reasons as a teenager as i just simply didn’t believe it .

i am enjoying playing catch up with all the information out there now showing multiple examples of false prophecies , covering up the truth and the jw broadcasting stuff is amazing ( as said before i’ve just ignored the organisation for 30 years ) , it’s totally brainwashing evangelical propaganda.. however i digress .... as a young kid i used to ask , “if in paradise the “ lion will lay with lamb “ and all creatures will live in harmony, why for example does a snake have venom if not to eat another creature ?”.

like i say i was 10 years old i remember so please excuse the childish question.. but do they actually believe that was gods original plan for animals ?

Not ever going to happen for this propagation is fictional mythology.

Men for longest time have dreamed about what they would like to change about the world in which we live, like no more pain and suffering, no more death , animals not killing each other for food to survive. etc.

Nice heartfelt thoughts no doubt but to achieve these things one and has to honest and realistic. The tangible evidence of nature is that all living things must die to make the availability for newly procreated organisms to evolve.

Of course when your a child its a nice thought of animals living in harmony, sounding emotionally appealing. I did .

People who think the WTS is going to collapse due to lack of money relating to law suit payouts for pedophilia cover ups, a slight downturn in participation or decrease in baptisms are dreaming or deluded.

The WTS/JWorg. as whole has never been richer, they now own more than a billion(s) $$$ in real estate to back them up.

The WTS is not going away , at least not in are lifetime.

What your saying is the reason why young teenagers and even younger getting baptized or striving to give talks, its approval from their parents and the congregation as a whole.

In the JWS cult your value as an individual is built around your activity within the JWS religion from going out in service (pioneering), giving talks, assembly participation, all done so to create an semblance of ones spiritual strength or sought out approval.

People Were More Ingenious in the Past

ok, you'll have to bear with me with this one.. i want to talk about toasters.

a) a toaster you can buy today, any brand.

b) a toaster invented in 1948. for a bonus, how long do you think a toaster purchased today will keep working?

Some old inventions from the past which I thought was pretty cool in the day.

An entertainment system complete with TV, record player and radio all put into a nicely designed finished solid wood cabinet.

Some of the cars in the 60's were like siting in a luxury living room with large plush seats, these care were made solid with metal and chrome everywhere inside and out and rode smooth like a dream..

Home Telephones that had a warm full tone sound to them, not the electronic sounds from the Cell phones today, everyone's voice sounded so much better on these phones.

Thats not to say there aren't cool inventions happening today.

I just purchased some wireless ear buds to listen to music and audio books which are stored on my cell phone. , that's pretty cool invention as well.

Believers: How do you know your view of your chosen holy book is the correct one?

after all i was a jobo 50 years and thought the wbt$ was 100% correct.. i ask this because i see that, for example, christian denominations (or whatever), likely have differing interpretations of the same writing.

Marital sex

my wife and i have always shared naked photos respectfully over the years.

People are also make huge donations in their Wills all prearranged by the WTS.

But where the WTS is making the most amount of financial income is the acquiring land title deeds of Kingdom Halls or Branch sales of as late.

The WTS made close to 2 billion in the sales of all the buildings they own in Brooklyn New York just to use an example.

Then there are the sales of many branches around the world.

........but they still ask children to give up their little bit of candy money they have.

as human beings we are capable of experiencing around 750 emotions.

parents use fear, guilt and shame to control their children to behave and do as they wish.

the jw's are masters at using the same 3 emotions to keep their members in check.

The WTS creates a luring psychological cult of love and brotherhood, righteous virtue as being god's chosen organization because of their close adherence to the bible, god's word.

God's holy spirit is directing the organization through the GB anointed ones too.

When one first starts with the JWS people are impressed of the in front look and appearance of love, men are wearing suits, woman are dressed nicely, looking neat and tidy, smiles everywhere, look how happy god's people are !

The indoctrination process starts from there.

Overtime the aspect of subservience to the top leading men of the organization/cult sets in, lies, and hypocrisy are observed, the controlling oppression, fear, guilt and obligation becomes deeply imposed.

Are you doing enough ? are you showing your deeply felt devotion to Jehovah in accomplishing his will and purpose ?

The writings in the bible particularly the book of Revelation is taken as factual, meaning the world in going to be destroyed soon so we better draw other people into the organization to save their lives.

Fear, guilt and obligation is set .

The psychological trauma starts.

How do you feel about the JWS religion after being out more than 10, 20, 30 years ?

myself being a born in and completely out for more than 30 years i see more of the damage of what this religious cult causes people .. part of myself leaving had to do with the psychological harm it was causing people back in the 1970's, one guy my age at the time hung himself out anxiety and depression.. the numerous suicides that have occurred in numbers is shocking to say the least.. then there is the many families breaking up.. marriages breaking apart because one member decides to leave the jws.. the deaths of members or their children from refusing a blood transfusion.. this hit me personally when my mother refused a bt when she was ill in the hospital and died.. over the years and observing all of these things reminds me how glad and fortunate i left when i did but i do find it responsible to others to expose this religious cult to what can happen to people who get involved with it and that's what i've been doing on this forum and elsewhere.

The WTS/JWs as an organization has to date killed thousands, broken apart millions of families, ruined marriages, indirectly caused numerous suicides which might now exceed the numbers who have died from refusing a blood transfusion (?) , all orchestrated by false doctrines created by corrupt religoius charlatans running their own unregulated publishing house.

If those reasons dont compel you to leave probably nothing will.
