i remember people talking about how not to buy a 2 door, because it is not as good for going out in service.
people would be looked down upon big time if they bought a sporty or compact car.

it was me,valis, my roommate, country girl, and 3others from oklahoma.. we had 2 reports show.
one was a talk radio station, and another was from a tv station---no camera though.. the reporter from channel 8 is wanting us to do a documentary type thing.

my dear sweet mother, who just turned 78, and who has been a faithful jw since 1959. she abandoned me in 1981, when i decided to leave the borg, and for twelve years she did not speak to me, write to me, call me, or visit me.

I'm so sorry to hear of your pain. I wish that their was something that I can do. I have been through the same emotional roller coaster until I put a stop to it.
My mom is 74 yrs old and has been in since 1968. It's very hard for me to put her out of my mind. In my travels, I see ladies my mothers age and it makes me wonder what she's doing now. The kicker is.......there are times when I help these old ladies, perhaps at the grocery store or something and I think of my mom. It really messses with your head. But she's under Borg mind control and she doesn't know it. The last time I talked to her, I told her that I'm not a part time son. If she wants a relationship with me, it's either full time or nothing at all. I hated to tell her that but that's what it all comes down to with the Watchtower. That's why that religion is so evil.
I feel for you.

You know what really irks me!!!
by lv4fer inmy husband's sister is shunning us, mind you we have not been df'd...we just stopped attending meetings and my husband told his mom and sister he doesn't believe it is the truth.
that is not what irks me, that is to be expected i guess.
what just irks the heck out of me is that she sent my father in law over (he is not a witness) over our house with her car and asked my husband to change her oil and also put in a new water pump.
