somehow i remember that the article gave an example of a couple visiting another couple and let's say the male host would grab the female visitor and lean on her going together circles for few minutes.
then the article went on asking what the visiting male would feel in this situation and what diffrence music would make?
Thank you for each and everyone, you have contributed very interesting messages. I was not aware that this subject would inlude so differing attitudes within JW community. I was DF'd over 30 yrs ago and probably before that time situatiation was more uniform. Another thing to remember though is the nature of dancing, as long as the Bible is concerned dancing was different by then. But as we all seem to know too well, this dear dub society is amazingly sharp in spotting demons, sex and filth everywhere.

My rememberance was that at that time dancing was not for mature and spiritual christians except in a wedlock (of course twist and jive were no-no's to every witless.)

I am interested of one detail loosely connected to this subject namely the number of Bible students that did not follow Rutherford. Do you have any estimate of the number of Bible students that followed Rutherford let us say until few years after 1931?
I understand that the time span is more that 15 years and that alone have its own natural effect on this issue. Also it is my understanding that Bible students were not so tightly connected together which makes it even more difficult to estimate.

on the other hand, i saw on sweed television yesterday abuot this hepatit c, thing several peopel are going to sue, the state, beaucause they have this decis from bloodtransfusions, and now are waiting to die, they say that a lot of times hospital use this things unessesary, and they have never noen that they hade blood, 900 people only in sweden have hepatit c, i think that if we count how many how are dead in this using or not using blood, we have a much higer accont hwo is dead beaucause they have blood, aids , hepatit c and other, it i sems it is very dangerus to have blood today, and why did we never read about that peopel dying beacause of this, but if one die when they not have blood it is a lot of noice, in sweden i think perhaps we have 2 or 3 how die , when they not have blood, but compare this widh hundreds how die or hade bad things like aids, hepatitc beaucause they have blood ,somthing to think about.

I do not know if it of any consolation to you, but in a local (finnish) forum is one JW that goes on and on with what you just stated. He does it in spite of many refutations by medically trained persons.
after calming down my two rowdy dogs, i kindly, but firmly, explained to these ladies that i had been df'd for almost 20 years and had no interest in talking to them.

I am DF:d and contacted over 20 yrs after the order of the boot. I was fortunate that I just had had my Internet connection wired up and done some research. Similarly my phone number was given by mother to this PO, the very same man that DF:d me.
I'd like to see my name enlisted. That society has deceived me personally by changing its view on a subject that kept me in prison for 2 years 4 months and 15 days.
