I remember my oldest son once commenting to me, and this was when he was still in his mid teens..."Mom...there sure are a lot of crazy people at the KH"! Probably because they never got the proper help in the form of counseling or medication...weren't we always told just to rely on Jehovah and the elders to "fix" our problems. No wonder everyone was a nut case...including myself. I have since reformed...slightly.

Anyone forcibly removed?

not sure if this has been talked about but,

when i was about 12, my family and i were sitting in the middle of the kingdumb hall, i was seated at the end of the aisle, and some lady sitting about 7 rows in front of us got up and started yelling, and ran up to the speaker, two guys grabbed her and took her outside, we never saw her again, but i do remember all the rumors about her, and what she did, i saw her clearly but people were saying that she tried to attack the elder with a knife, i did not see a knife, other rumors were drugs, demons, apostate, etc.

has anyone here been removed from the kingdumb hall by force?

This is what my brother told me. So I hope I get it straight.

One night at a "service" meeting, a "brother" was giving a talk who was allegedly having improper thoughts about my bro's wife, and was expressing them verbally or physically towards my bro's wife (but not in the talk, hahaha). So my bro stands up during his talk and proceeds to rip the "brother" up and down accusing him of bad, bad things concerning this "brother" and my bro's wife. Giving a good rant. He let it fly. I think a couple of "brothers" working security at this KH then quickly went up to him and told him to shut up, sit down or leave. My brother refused. So they called the sheriff. My bro is still in the hall, sitting down now, having told the "brothers" that it was a public place and he didn't have to leave. So the sheriff arrives and goes into the KH and asks my bro to leave. He said he wasn't going to go because he had the right to stay in a public place. So the sheriff proceeds to inform my bro that if he doesn't come with him that he will be arrested (for what the heck I don't know...public ranting?) and taken to jail. My bro decided he got his point across and maybe it was in his best interests to leave. But he was forever and henceforth banned from that KH. Yeah. That's like a HERO move.

How many of us would have liked to stand up during a meeting and let it all out????

I agree that Zayra has got to go. Though I don't really care for the idea of a group called Super Nova...no matter who is in it...I still enjoy watching some really good performers and vocalists. My money is on Dilana...she's already got an established reputation as a "rock goddess" and her voice always gives me chills. She's absolutely nuts too...but nice nuts.

I say just keep the back-up band and go with Dilana and forget Super Nova.

Most of what my mom cooked was inedible. But it kept us alive. It was my mother-in-law who really taught me how to cook.

am at my wits end with my boys' bathroom, bedrooms, laundry and kitchen habits.

You mean you didn't strangle them at birth?

Seriously...I had two boys who lived here for a while after turning 18. They kept things "within reason"...but when it got too bad I just went ballistic on them and when they feared for their safety...they cleaned things up. Threats of kicking them out did no good because they knew I was too big of a softy to do that.

I am glad they're gone. I miss them but not the mess.
